A limited selection of classic pizzeria appetizers, which, however, allow you to fully indulge in a delicious pizza 🍕

I've traveled a lot in Italy, I've always been curious to taste and try pizzas from many cities, I've tried pizzas from big names that you see advertised on social media (I don't want to name names) but until now no pizza has thrilled me like the Stile Libero one! And I'm not exaggerating!! 👍 Congratulations!!!

We went with friends to this beautiful pizzeria, although it's very narrow and limited in seating. It's very clean and everything is visible. The appetizers are quality, and the pizzas are truly excellent. BUT... on the menu, you'll find pan pizzas, which aren't pizzas at all, but a kind of thick focaccia with a little topping on top. It's good, but you're disappointed because you expect a pizza but get a focaccia. I would suggest the owners specify on the menu that it's a three-finger-thick focaccia. A wheelchair could fit inside, but with great difficulty. Parking on the street outside is easy.

A well-run bar, good pizzas, and croissants are better in Altamura, but they're still good. The only complaint is that the coffee isn't good, bordering on undrinkable. It costs €1.20. The importance of coffee is often underestimated, and I think that's a big mistake.

Whether it's a unique leavened product, a pudding, or a savory option for those who prefer brunch-style, the selection is always dynamic and stimulating. Another cornerstone of a perfect breakfast is, of course, coffee. And in this, Stile Libero does not disappoint, offering an excellent espresso that demonstrates obsessive attention to blending and preparation. It's an intense, aromatic, and balanced coffee, the ideal fuel to start the day with the right energy.

In Altamura, many people make pizzas. Only a few make good pizzas. Only Stile Libero makes unforgettable pizzas. Add to that Gianni, always kind and polite, a young and friendly staff, and a relaxed, informal atmosphere: it's my favorite place. Excellent quality all round, which perhaps wouldn't be enough without top-notch staff, but here they also have that, what many second-rate, shadowy restaurateurs lack: knowing how to treat their customers well.

I chose takeout pizzas because you have to book well in advance, as the place is always busy. The pizza is good, a 7 out of 10 considering the city's standards. The staff is a bit squinty if you're not up to par with the place—that is, the typical guy who parks out front in a no-parking zone with his Porsche, a shirt with his initials, and a pocket square. So, the atmosphere isn't for everyone, but only those with the aforementioned characteristics. Otherwise, I recommend it.
