Sterzingerhaus In Vipiteno

A refuge at 1900m offering a restaurant, overnight accommodations, and breakfast. Reachable by car via a 20-minute drive through the woods: I recommend a slightly higher-capacity vehicle, as the dirt road is potholed, and I don't recommend driving at night, as it's not lit. Stunning views of the entire valley at sunrise and sunset. Located at the crossroads of several trails on Monte Cavallo, it's an ideal place if you want to spend a couple of days away from the city and enjoy some nature walks. We had a great time: excellent food, with the option of a set menu in the evening for overnight guests, and very friendly and helpful staff. There are some children's games and a volleyball court. Top!
