Steinbock In Castelrotto

The Lady who runs the restaurant is so friendly and sympathetic, she loves to showcase her own produce and food made with her own grown vegetables. Always ask her what she recommend: it will be the freshest and daily special from her garden or from the forest (hint: mushroom!). I ll love to go go back. Do try it!

I stopped at the restaurant by chance after a walk through Castelrotto and Siusi. From the outside, you wouldn't pay a cent, but just stepping inside is a unique experience! The lady was very friendly and kind. The food was fabulous, with some unusual and very unique ingredients. Overall, they're traditional dishes.

Il meteo s'è messo al brutto quindi anticipiamo la pausa pranzo in questa trattoria in paese. Ci accoglie una signora molto cordiale che ci informa sul piatto del giorno e ci fa sentire subito a nostro agio. Assaggio la trota con le patate soprattutto ottima l'insalata mista freschissima. Locale pulito, frequentato ma non affollato, conto senza sorprese. Consigliato, grazie!
