A pleasant place where you can appreciate Roman cuisine and considering that there was also a Roman friend at the table who confirmed the goodness of the dishes from starters to main courses, I can only invite you to visit this place. Excellent service as well as the quality/price ratio.

Very nice environment and service. Excellent quality food, perfect traditional Roman recipes. The only flaw in my opinion is that the portions we took were not all the same... The carbonara was very generous while the cacio e pepe was half the size.

There are no words to describe the goodness and quality of the dishes! Bucatini all'amatriciana, cacio e pepe and carbonara, porchetta and mozzarella in carrozza were the dishes we deliciously ENJOYED: generous portions and very seasoned! You can feel the love and passion that goes into the preparation of every single dish.
Service with some 'aches' but WHO CARES!
A dish requested initially was not available, but the owner/chef came out in person to apologize, a symbol of honesty, humility and lordship.
Well done indeed, WE WILL BE BACK!

Roman tavern with good traditional Roman food, the manager puts the customer at ease with advice and informal ways, the girls serving are very kind, the wine list is also good. Very clean bathrooms. The cost is acceptable. We will be back

Welcoming place, friendly and above all smiling staff, I would say the cuisine was excellent, the food was excellent... I recommend trying practically everything 😂 as both the taste and ingredients are of excellent quality.

Update to my review.
Returning after a little (too) long for a business dinner, I found some pleasant surprises. The first courses, which were already fantastic, are now made with entirely homemade pasta, unusual shapes, although they were bucatini, tonnarelli and other "classics".
Supplì and mozzarella in carrozza now have an even more crunchy and delicious breading.
When you are already at high levels, but you don't stop and continue to improve, it means that you deeply love your job and always put the customer and his "experience" (just to be a bit modern) at the center of your attention .
And what can I tell you.... Thanks to Tiziano and the whole team.
One of a kind.
Tiziano, the owner, runs this tavern in the center of Carpi together with his wife, which offers traditional Roman dishes and hospitality.
The venue is particularly aesthetically pleasing, with a markedly modern/industrial style. Each table differs from the other, ranging from the raised table with seating on stools, to the more secluded table for 2 or 4 people.
The food offering draws heavily from the Roman tradition, and everything is extremely tasty: from the appetizers, with the iconic supplì and the excellent selection of cheeses and cured meats from Central Italy, to the first courses, all worth trying, and ending with the second courses, varied and according to seasonality.
My typical meal starts from the supplì and the cold cuts, necessarily moves on to the gricia, the carbonara, or the cacio e pepe (but for those who want something particular, I absolutely suggest the incredible garlic oil and chilli pepper), to close with an artichoke judge and a finger burner.
Wines selected and consistent with what you eat. A very fair price, which reflects the concept of a tavern but without debasing the value of the work "behind the scenes".
Tiziano is now a friend, and I always feel at home in his restaurant.
