Stazione Birra In Ciampino

Saturday 11th evening, to say it wasn't spectacular would be an understatement. The place deserves its reputation. Everything was perfect. Kudos to the organization, the artists, and the table staff. We had a wonderful time.

As always, the following is based on personal experience and has no intention of promoting or denigrating any business, as I'm not a professional, unlike the owners of this business. The place is truly wonderful: a blast from the past, to the days of often crowded venues where live music was played and you'd leave reeking of cigarette smoke. Here, as everywhere, fortunately, the smoke is gone, at least when it comes to cigarettes: only the on-stage smoke remains, adding to the incredible performances of the various bands that perform there. The acoustics are stadium-quality: perfect in every way, including the sound engineers (to whom I extend my heartfelt compliments). Otherwise, the place speaks for itself: I like it. There's definitely room for improvement, at least in my opinion: charging an entrance fee is fine (hoping to contribute to the musicians' fees), but €15 is a bit steep, and above all, the fact that the price is the same for those who eat and those who just come for the music doesn't sit well with me, especially since the menu prices, again in my personal opinion, are already a bit high, even for a Roman square. Table service is long: it must be said that there are many waiters and the place is really large, but almost an hour's wait for the dishes is a bit too long, even for the most patient of people like me, and with all the extenuating circumstances. Otherwise, there's nothing negative to report: the welcome was warm and polite (everyone was generally very friendly and smiling), I ate well (burger and fries), drank very well (fantastic red beer, A+), listened to great music, and even hung out. I'll gladly return.

Beautiful venue with live music

Over the course of attending for several years, we always confirm the same excellent experience, without ever being disappointed. Very pleasant place, excellent acoustics, excellent service, beer always up to par, decent menu (improvable) but above all, music for which, for the quality of the bands and on stage and variety of the offer, it is difficult to find better in the Rome area. Recommended for those who love rock!

Excellent live music, fast service and very helpful and kind girls and boys who serve at the tables. Good craft beers, however, I had a weissbier which wasn't that great and served in a glass not exactly suited to beers of this brewing style. Nothing special but perhaps in a very attentive place with craft beers I expected some attention to this detail but I repeat this doesn't change the extremely positive opinion regarding this place where the musical offering is always of high quality, in Rome certainly among the most beautiful places to spend an evening of food and excellent music, usually cover bands of great caliber. The place is very nice and large but I recommend you always book. Another positive note, or rather I would say ultra-positive😁, is the parking, yes because Stazione Birra has a large outdoor car park of its own and in any case outside in the street where the restaurant is located, being however a peripheral area, between the Municipality of Rome and that of Ciampino, it is not densely populated and let's say that in the end there is also a private car park outside. Go and you will see that you will definitely feel good at Stazione Birra.
