Stand-Up! In Matera

We were greeted with smiles upon entry. The high chair had already been prepared at our table (clean: it has become a rarity in the premises!) as well as the set of cutlery and hard plastic glass for my son. The table linen featured cloth napkins. The menu is on paper and written very clearly. The service was polite and quick. The waffle with Nutella was very good, brought already portioned. Entertainment for children offered by the structure. Fair prices and bitters offered. Congratulations, you deserve top marks

We are absolutely thrilled with the food. Delicious healthy cuisine with sophistication. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The waiter pointed out to us that it was probably too much. Rightly so. But we have never experienced anything like this. Normally every innkeeper just wants to sell as much as possible. We'll come back tomorrow. Price performance is unbeatable. Where can you get a delicious tuna salad for €8 these days? The restaurant is a bit out of the way from Matera, but is absolutely worth the trip. Thanks.
