Stai is a very welcoming and comfortable place, large, with tables also outside. The drinks are cheap but nice. The staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

08/08/2025: Great food, came for the steak as a break from pasta. Perfectly cooked! I would definitely return!
29/07/2025: Excellent family friendly restaurant. All fresco seating in a relatively quiet side street. Being just a little off the main drag, Via Maqueda, improves the quality and value. The octopus salad was excellent, as was the pasta alla Norma. The portions are on the small side so don't be afraid to order starters. The pinze (type of pizza) were also delicious and filling. Didn't have any dessert. Recommended! ***Update**** Having had pasta alla norma in other restaurants this week (I'm very partial) I can upgrade my review to 'exceptional'. I haven't had better yet.

Trattoria Tipica Altri Tempi

29/08/2025: The name perfectly reflects a typical Sicilian cuisine of the past. While eating, I was transported back in time; the perfect balance between price and quality is noteworthy. If you're in Palermo, it's a must-try.
