03/03/2025: Excellent service, attentive and very friendly, nice place tastefully furnished, but prices a little too high for the quality of the food served. We ordered a glass of red wine, a bottle of water, a slice of Cinisara meat, an aubergine caponata and a couscous, price with "50% the Fork" 46 Euros, if we had not had the discount, 77 Euros. Good wine, good quality cut of meat but served at a temperature that was too low, the potatoes were average, the caponata average, the couscous was swimming in an orange broth that wasn't very appealing to the eye, and the fish inside was mostly frozen as indicated on the menu except for the mussels which weren't tasty anyway. For the price paid I imagined much better, also because in Palermo you can eat well almost everywhere and at much cheaper prices. If he wants to maintain the prices he has, he must improve the cuisine or halve all prices, because even the 46 euros paid are too much for the quality provided. I do not recommend.
I respond to what the restaurateur wrote in the comment on my review: I'll start by saying that I have traveled almost all of Italy having worked in Tuscany for over 20 years, so I have known many restaurants, I wouldn't have wanted to make direct comparisons, but since you asked, I'll point you to some places in Palermo and the province where you can eat with a quality/price ratio that I think is excellent: if you want to keep to a price range similar to your place you can go to "CR21", they have very high quality food and I would say that he also deserves a Michelin star (he doesn't have one yet but if he continues like this he will get one soon) if he wants to eat a good pizza and spend the right amount he can go to "tip and futtitinni", if he wants very fresh and quality fish in the airport area at "Andrea il pirata" or for meat always in those parts at "Taverna all'antica", if he wants to move to Bagheria try "Don Ciccio", in the Palermo area we are full of places where the quality/price ratio is high, I can't write them all, I'm so sorry that you don't know any, and I urge you, every now and then, to try some that I have indicated to you, the comparison helps to grow and no one should consider themselves "arrived".
as for the reasons why I didn't send her the cut back "to reheat" it was for two reasons, the first is that correcting a dish is an offense for a chef (and from the prices I imagine that you simply don't have a chef), the second is that if you had heated it further you would have altered the medium cooking I asked for, the demands change according to the price, which is why we say "chiddu chi spenni manci" or at least that's how it should be (in my opinion modest opinion).
I cordially greet you, hoping that this review will help you reflect and further improve your place.
P.s. The price of 46 euros was fine (if I had also taken dessert), but I remind you that it was 50% off at "The fork"
12/02/2025: Good food, excessive prices for a service with napkins and paper placemat and filtered water at €3 per litre...
