We recently had a wonderful meal at St. George. We had the 7-course tasting menu, though it ended up being a lot more because there were 6 canapes, a bread course and 6 petit fours. It was all delicious and perhaps the most exquisitely-looking food I've ever seen. The service was also excellent - attentive without it being pretention, although I thought the multiple-page Water Menu (divided by domestic water, international water, still water, sparking water, etc. where I think the most expensive bottle was 38 euros) and the similar Coffee Menu were a bit much. Overall, while It's not cheap, we thought it was worth it. At the end of the meal, the chef came out and stopped by all of the tables, which was nice.

09/08/2024: Excellent location with a beautiful view. We ordered three swordfish rolls... or rather breadcrumb rolls, 😅 the taste of fish non-existent and with a strong bitter aftertaste of burnt breadcrumbs. Obviously eaten out of hunger, but from Messisene doc rating 2. My friend ordered the Villanazza pasta with peppers, courgettes, aubergines and cherry tomatoes..Cherry tomatoes??? Huge tomatoes on the plate, and all the vegetables seemed boiled rather than fried. So the result of the dish was the pasta on one side and the vegetables on the other... it looked like a dish you would serve during a hospital stay. To top it off, the girl who served us very politely removed the plate and dropped the tomatoes on my son's trousers and equally politely brought us the spray and the brush to clean the stain!!! Experience certainly NOT to be recommended!!

11/08/2024: COME NON TORNARCI!!! abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni a Lipari di cui due con cena qui! Siamo ritornati perché non si può non tornare!!! La cucina è eccellente il personale gentile sempre con il sorriso, a mezza serata Thomas ci delizia con musica (alcune canzoni scritte addirittura da lui) un saluto particolare va all host Rossella sempre attenta ai clienti e davvero ti senti a casa !!! Abbiamo provato 6 portate in due serate..... peccato che il nostro soggiorno finisce qui.... complimenti!!!
08/08/2024: Serata incantevole con intrattenimento musicale veramente delizioso. Ottimi i primi e grande scelta di dessert, tutti ovviamente siculi. Servizio eccellente, in particolare segnalo la bravissima e simpaticissima Rossella.
