St. André Cafè Restaurant In Antey-saint-andrè

I was planning on booking for dinner, but we had to go in to see the menu because it wasn't displayed at the entrance or outside (😉). We had to search for it under the visibly annoyed gaze of the owner (the proverbial Aosta Valley welcome 😢). Prices were like jewelry stores, so on my way out, my eye fell on a freezer in plain sight in the bar area, a chest-type freezer with glass through which I could glimpse every type of frozen dish... Too bad there wasn't an asterisk on the menu (we remind the owner that frozen products must be declared on the menu, as the very amusing Article 515 of the Italian Criminal Code applies, which punishes commercial fraud, where these products are served and are on the menu). So I opted for another restaurant, preferring FRESH specialties. If I want, I'll eat the frozen ones at home (or maybe not even at home). Best regards

Highly recommended for a gluten-free lunch. I had the Valdostana corn crepes, what can I say...excellent!! I tasted the typical cheeses with sauces and honey...a delicious treat accompanied by a glass of Cornelin. ❤️

I hope to return soon, even just to chat with the owner, a delightful person and the perfect innkeeper. The food is excellent and the location is stunning. Well done!

We stopped by chance and had a truly excellent lunch. The food was of high quality, served with professionalism and care. The owner was very kind and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had the best time at this restaurant. We had lovely aperitivo to start with in the cafe downstairs and then we were served by Juan in the restaurant and the owners of this awesome establishment. The wine and fondu were absolutely amazing. The kids enjoyed their meals too (which weren’t on the menu, but simplified for the kids). Then we all had the most amazing desserts. Everything was amazing, friendly service, great food, the best view. Put this on your bucket list!

Prices a bit high but fair for the location. Portions small, taste average. Welcome a bit strange but not bad.

We had lunch with our son and at first they didn't have a car seat for him, they gave it to us when the child had practically finished eating, but at least we were able to eat peacefully with him sitting (2 car seats in the whole restaurant is a bit too few). Good food, fair price, the only thing is that it's the first time in a mountain restaurant that they don't make mashed potatoes... friendly staff.

Highly recommended, not only because it's a recently built venue in a charming building with outdoor seating and a panoramic terrace, but also for the owners' commitment to their work and the warm welcome they give to their guests, even those who are just passing through, like us, simple hikers. A very friendly young woman with a Spanish accent served us an aperitif. It was just what we needed after a very long hike in the mountains, so much so that we stopped by again the following days for a quick lunch before heading home.

Personnel très accueillant dans un cadre chaleureux. Cuisine très bonne et de qualité. Desserts. incroyablement bons. Parking facilement accessible.

Belle découverte ce soir avec un accueil feutré , très bonne musique de fond et plat succulent accompagné de vin local au verre s’accordant très bien avec le plat. Je recommande vivement
