Average welcoming place, food neither good nor bad, unfortunately poor service, staff not very attentive. Disappointing, too bad. We are sorry but I don't think we will return.

The pizza was good but not very good. The dessert was decent. And the staff was very kind. The only thing that I didn't like was the way the bill was split, we could pay for what we had.

First time after many years that we live in Prato, Valentine's Day evening, pleasant place, exposed wood oven which in itself is a marvel, very kind dining room staff, as soon as we arrive they bring the menu, take the drink order and bring a red covaccino with a heart, delicious pizzas, equally the Catalan cream. Impeccable service, fast and professional. We will definitely return. The price is ok too!!!

09/02/2025: I thank the trattoria Il Mercatino in Prato via Cavour 94 for giving my mother a special day on her 90th birthday on February 5th. The excellent service, the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and the exceptional waiter, the excellent albeit simple cuisine of the cook, (said by a taxi driver from Pietrasanta) and a bit of experience in this regard... I don't have to convince anyone that's how it is for me. I put your business card in my taxi.
