Spore forces you into a bit of a mold: you're stuck with fixed meals, either a 4- or 7-course menu, they don't have an espresso machine... they do it their way, with lots of fermented vegetables and other unique preparations. Kombucha is an incredibly flavorful alternative to wine. What a fantastic tasting experience this was. I'd love to be put into a mold like that more often. Each one more unique and flavorful than the last. You taste the vegetables from the fields, the twists from Asian cuisine. Incredible! You have to be open to it, but then this is truly a top restaurant!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. Aside from the tagliolini, the dishes were rather dull in flavor, and the chicken, in particular, was completely bland. It's a shame, because I had high expectations; the July menu probably wasn't the best.

An excellent place where you can try very interesting and new pairings with every menu change. We go monthly when possible! Plus, they offer interesting wine pairings for all tastes. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The seven-course menu is definitely worth the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a different kind of dinner.

I took my boyfriend there for his birthday, and it was delicious. Incredible dishes, crazy preparations, and always a unique fermentation. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they know how to explain and guide you through the journey. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is decidedly informal; the paper napkins could use a facelift. We chose the seven-course menu with wine tasting, and everything was excellent and served promptly (except for a slightly longer wait halfway through the meal). The staff were smiling and knowledgeable, and a special mention goes to the sommelier.

Excellent dinner with a vegan menu available upon request, surprising flavors and pairings. Dishes explained well and with passion. Well done!
