I went last night for dinner and had a great time! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, they made me feel pampered with the welcome glass of prosecco. The dishes were very good and with the €28 menu for two courses it also turned out to be very convenient!

In the heart of the city centre, this restaurant, run by the very nice and welcoming brothers Walter and Gabriele, offers dishes and flavors of Sicily in a contemporary key that appeals both to people from Bergamo, tourists and the numerous Sicilians who work in the Orobic city. All thanks to the talented chefs who reinterpret the traditional dishes of the Trinacria area, enriching them with a touch of modernity. A catering project which, as the name suggests, was born from the love for Sicily. The Spizziculiu menu focuses on fresh meat and fish dishes, cooked to perfection and capable, despite their creative presentations, of making the customer travel for over 1200 km, making them feel like they are in a restaurant by the sea. From calamarata with mussels and cherry tomatoes, from tagliatelle alla Nerano, from risotto with cuttlefish ink, from beef tartare, up to the inevitable arancine, the most authentic flavors are served. The desserts deserve a special note, where the classic cannoli with fresh ricotta reigns supreme. For those coming to Bergamo it is a highly recommended stop, it guarantees a Palermo DOC.
