Spiazzo In Roma

Their peculiarity is certainly the wide choice regarding the type of pizza base, which does not only offer Roman pizza. I chose the surprising one with a high but crunchy crust not to be confused with Neapolitan pizza. I really appreciated the sweet finish with the panna cotta and that flavor of bitter almonds that I particularly love. Supplì with excellent consistency and dry to the touch, synonymous with perfect frying. I tried the cacio e pepe with artichokes and honestly I would have a small note on that one: the artichoke is not really noticeable, overshadowed by the stronger flavors of the pepper. I'm not a chef but I would change something there, perhaps it would simply be enough to put the artichokes in the dough in larger cubes. Shredded thinly, they are destined not to give any characterization to the proposed dish. Excellent overall rating!

I absolutely disagree with those who complained about bad service. The staff is friendly and willing to explain a potentially "complicated" menu, if you are uncivilized, the problem is yours. I find the concept of Spiazzo very interesting! The textures and flavors give life to truly delicious pizzas, always accompanied by classic traditional recipes. The dessert was also excellent, the blancmange had the right balance of sweetness, crunchiness and freshness, I really liked it. Unfortunately, only on fried foods did I find a slightly lower level: although the filling of the ingot was excellent if tasted on its own, I found that the breading tasted too much like oil and that it was a little heavy, to the point that it overpowered the flavor a little. of the filling. Honorable mention for the slice with escarole and olives. I would like a whole stuffed pizza like this. Stupendous. We will definitely be back to try all the other combinations :-)

Amazing pizza and great atmosphere with very friendly staff

we put the efficiency of the pizzeria to the test: 19 of us showed up! Yet, they managed to fully meet our expectations. We already knew the pizzeria and the excellent quality of the food. What amazed us this time was the ability to manage such a large group, managing to make us all eat together and to accommodate our every change and/or request without confusion. Well done!!! Attention: there is free PARKING... a rarity for those who live in Rome :-)

I tried both the Roman pizza (fantastic crunch) and the Neapolitan-like one (crust that melted in your mouth), both fantastic! we will certainly return

Excellent appetizers, excellent pizzas, excellent explanations

Spiazzo è una pizzeria gourmet sotto ponte di ferro, con tavolini all’aperto e lucine appese per aria, dall’atmosfera suggestiva. Prenotazione su turni, noi eravamo al secondo, un po’ di confusione nel capire a chi si dovesse chiedere udienza, siamo stati rimbalzati 3 volte dalla stessa cameriera e fatto presente che avevamo una prenotazione ci è stato risposto di aspettare fuori. Lasciando perdere la poca chiarezza iniziale, ci hanno fatto accomodare dopo circa 20 minuti, ma la comanda è stata presa in tempi rapidissimi e gli antipasti sono arrivati nel giro di 10 minuti. Il lingotto patate e cotto è speciale, una panatura così croccante e saporita non l’avevo mai assaggiata. Ottimo anche il trancio con il gamberone e lardo di colonnata che loro chiamano “morso”. In effetti la porzione è davvero un boccone. Per le pizze abbiamo aspettato poco meno di 40 minuti, un po’ troppo in effetti considerata anche l’ora tarda, ma ne è valsa davvero la pena. La pizza nel padellino marinara con alici del cantabrico è forse la più buona mai mangiata. Menzione speciale anche alla pizza con impasto alla napoletana con foie gras, gamberoni, bisque di peperone crusco e mozzarella campana. Gli ingredienti sono di altissima qualità e l’accostamento si è rivelato senz’altro particolare, ma saporito (ritengo inutile solo l’aggiunta della misticanza). Per concludere un tiramisù tradizionale, ottima la crema, più un mirto. Conto alto, circa 25€ in due che rispenderò volentieri di tanto in tanto perché ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Le 4 stelle sono doverose per l’atteggiamento iniziale, la troppa confusione e la poca organizzazione in un sabato ancora estivo e super affollato, ma le pizze sono da 5.

Pizza romana buonissima come anche i supplì ed anche polpetta di baccalà. Servizio molto cortese ragazza giovani . Assolutamente da tornare
