I booked this restaurant on The Fork without knowing it, mainly attracted by its central location. Upon arrival, I wasn't particularly impressed by the entrance, but once I went down the stairs, the atmosphere changed completely: the place turned out to be intimate, welcoming and very particular, perfect for a dinner for two. From starter to dessert, each dish was carefully presented, and the flavours, especially of the fish dishes, were truly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tuna tataki and the bacon-wrapped scallops. The pistachio cheesecake concluded an impeccable dinner. And if after dinner you add a romantic walk through the alleys of Rome, up to the magnificent Trevi Fountain, the experience becomes truly unmissable.

I must say that from the outside it doesn't look like it... But underneath the stairs it really is "a world"
Abundant and tasty dishes, we only took two starters, we divided them into 5 and a first course each and we were full!
The staff is very attentive and polite, never intrusive, indeed at the end they pamper the customer with amaro, chocolates and cantuccini... and for the little ones... chupa chups at will... This is a gem and an attention that very few have!

Exceptional place in Rome. The dishes are excellent, the atmosphere disconnects you from the hustle and bustle of the city, you eat in a sort of cool cellar. The waitress is friendly and attentive. It did us a lot of good to eat such good quality food with such premium service.

Beautiful restaurant a few steps from the Trevi fountain. Excellent service, availability of many gluten-free dishes!
I didn't find the gluten-free dishes I ordered extraordinary, but they were still good. At the end of the meal the restaurant offers liqueurs and sweets, a much appreciated gesture.

Good value for money, plus they usually have a discount in The Fork app and they apply it without problems.
To highlight the spaghettis caccio e peppe, the ravioli (very tasty and come in 6) and the meatballs in sauce, which are four but overwhelming due to their large size.
I recommend ordering bread to accompany the dishes, they include grisini and various types of bread, so it seems very suitable to me.
Also noteworthy is that, when you finish eating, they offer you amaretto and limonccelo, accompanied by some chocolates, a kind of almond candy and lollipops, so the sweet end to the evening is appreciated.

Excellent restaurant and truly excellent service like few others. They also offered us a good liqueur and the dishes were all excellent too. Definitely recommended. Excellent price with the fork offer also for the quality of the dishes served.
