Spaghetteria Miseria e Nobilta In Matera

In September, my husband and I dined at this spot in Matera, which seemed popular with tour groups. Though hesitant at first, we gave it a try as the staff was friendly and it was getting late. We had the crusco peppers, Matera-style meatless meatballs, vongole, and Lucana-style carbonara. The vongole was our favorite, and while surprised the meatballs were meatless, they were still tasty. The crispy peppers were unique and crunchy, not like bell peppers. With the right expectations, it’s a good choice—especially if you can beat the crowds.

Everything excellent! Typical Lucanian food, tasty dishes, polite and friendly staff. I absolutely recommend it. The service is fast. I would absolutely go back :) try the crispy peppers as a starter :))

We had lunch in this restaurant before going to Bari, always reading the customer reviews... we ate well, everything was good and of good quality... we ordered a Lucanian carbonara and a spaghetti with clams, courgettes and mint and chopped pistachios, not abundant but not even gourmet... the bill was a little excessive for two plates of pasta and a bottle of water... I recommend it for the good food but the prices are a little higher than average, which is why I gave it 4 stars!!!

Delicious dinner at Spaghetteria Miseria e Nobiltà! We had the pleasure of dining at the Spaghetteria Miseria e Nobiltà, and the experience was truly excellent. The environment is very nice, with attention to detail and perfect for a pleasant and relaxing evening. We chose to have a fish-based dinner, and each dish was a real delight: very fresh ingredients, balanced flavors and great attention to presentation. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile, making the evening even more pleasant. A place where the quality of the food, the convivial atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff come together to give a memorable experience. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Siamo stati per tre giorni a Matera e il primo giorno ci siamo fermati a pranzare in questa deliziosa ristospaghetteria dove il ristoratore Dario e la sua squadra ci hanno non solo fatto sentire a casa, ma ci hanno deliziato con piatti cucinati benissimo con prodotti locali di prima qualità. Gli antipasti, sia di mare che di terra, sono stati fantastici e ci hanno portato ai primi. Abbiamo assaggiato sia gli spaghetti alla carbonara lucana, preparati con la famosa salsiccia pezzente, che gli spaghetti con crema di ceci gamberetti e pomodorino, oltre a vari altri piatti. Tutto eccezionale!!! Ai secondi nn tutti siamo arrivati perché totalmente sazi, ma abbiamo ascoltato il consiglio del proprietario e abbiamo assaggiato dei dolcetti artigianali a base di frutta dove ogni dolce conteneva il gusto relativo al frutto originale che lo conteneva. Da urlo!!! Cosa dirvi..... Siamo ritornati la seconda volta in tre giorni prima di ripartire per Napoli .... Signori miei, qui a Matera sanno il fatto loro e pure se questa spaghetteria richiama alla mente una antica immagine Napoletana grida a gran voce che Matera é qualità, sapore e ospitalità.
