Soulfood Pizza Atelier In Scena

Soulfood in Merano is one of my favourite dinner spots in town 🍕✨ A place that feels effortlessly cool, consistently delivers excellent pizza and has become a must‑reserve restaurant because it fills up fast. The pizzas here are genuinely great, with a beautifully matured dough and high quality toppings that make every slice satisfying and flavourful 🍅🧀. One of my favourites is a trio of pizzas with mortadella, anchovies, and tomatoes with basil — each bite a delightful balance of savoury, salty and fresh ingredients. You can feel the attention in the dough, the bakes and the crust every time you dig in.  I ordered the pizza with mortadella and tomatoes topped with a whole mozzarella, and it was soooo good. The cheese was creamy, the base chewy in all the right ways, and it hit that spot between rustic Italian and playful modern pizza. Despite being completely stuffed after the starters and pizza, I couldn’t resist ordering tiramisu to finish the meal 🍰. Best decision ever. Creamy, well balanced and just sweet enough to round everything off perfectly. This is one of the hottest restaurants in Merano, reservations are definitely required if you want a seat. Worth every moment for the great pizzas, cosy atmosphere and memorable meal. Highly recommend ❤️🍷👏

Not the first place to turn pizza into a special experience with dedication and creativity. For me, the standout feature is the dough/crust; it's the best I've ever eaten. No wonder, given their connection to Backificio. However, there are a few minor criticisms: Do they use particularly high-quality ingredients? In our opinion, there was far too much cheese. And considering the premium prices I'm willing to pay for high-quality products, the description of the ingredients is too brief. I didn't see anything about organic ingredients or anything like that. But: it remains excellent pizza, definitely a good recommendation.

The product quality is top-notch, and the pizza dough is simply fantastic. A wide selection of pizzas at various price points, but also very interesting dishes from the kitchen. Everything is prepared with great attention to detail. Definitely one of the most exciting restaurants in Merano – highly recommended!

I can only disagree with the previous review. Quality comes at a price. If you're not willing to pay a fair price for quality, there are plenty of alternatives. Best pizzeria in Merano with a very pleasant atmosphere and, not to forget, the friendliest service! 👏🏼 See you next time! ☺️

Not bad, but it absolutely doesn't justify the overpriced price for a pizza.

We ate dinner at Soulfood two nights in a row. The unusual pizza creations and daily specials made us want to try everything. It was all delicious. The vitello tonnato and tagliatelle with veal ragù and truffle are highly recommended. The vegan pizza with broccoli cream, olives, broccoli, and vegan mayonnaise was a nice change from just various vegetables on tomato sauce. We'll definitely be back.

A convenient, modern restaurant with a menu with many fresh options and daily specials - perfect for the families at the adjoining campground or Merano tourists looking for something special outside of the touristy areas. The pizza was great - in Italy you cannot survive without decent pizza; my pasta dish with buffalo mozz was amazing, hitting the spot (but the portion could have been a bit larger for the price).
