I've been there many times over the years, and the quality-price ratio has always been pretty good. After the recent price increases, however, I can't help but change my mind. The food is good, mind you, the house wine less so (it's a carton), but overall the experience isn't bad. However, if you're spending €50 for two people, two pizzas, a small appetizer, and some house wine, honestly, it's not enough for the food to be good; it has to be excellent. And the wine has to be unpackaged, since you can find good-quality bulk wine for €2 a liter.

Very good neighborhood pizzeria with well-made Neapolitan dough, even if my partner found it slightly rubbery in some parts (not me, my slices were fragrant), very digestible, and with many more very tasty dishes, an excellent eggplant parmigiana for example. Kind and fast service, typical environment of neighborhood pizzerias without a great personality

The food (I had the hamburger but the pizzas didn't look bad either) was average, the real disappointment was the tiramisu which was nothing more than pavesini (not ladyfingers... pavesini) not soaked (so much so that they were still hard), on top of which a cream had been thrown and then served on a totally discomposed plate. Calling that stuff tiramisu is indecent

The pizza was very good, typical Neapolitan. The friarielli were delicious. Spartan atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

The best restaurant/pizzeria in the Pigneto area. I recommend everyone to try it, excellent food and an informal and friendly environment.

10/10/2025: Nice venue for a quick business lunch, I tried pizza eith veggies and it was very good! The dough is roman style, very thin and crumbly, while the vegetables were perfectly cooked, which is not to take for granted. I will come back!

02/10/2025: I've been to all three Mastropizza pizzerias in Rome and I have to say the pizzas are excellent, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is the same. I'll be back.
23/09/2025: I got a takeaway pizza, it was delicious, I had a great experience with the guys who ordered it and the person who delivered it to me.
