Our favorite place! The food is simply fantastic, the raw fish is sublime, and the desserts are also sublime. We live in Rome, we have a house by the sea, and every time we come, Sottosopra is a must, summer and winter. You have to make a reservation because it's always full. Recommended by a colleague and friend who has known the restaurant and the owners for years, I must say the experience exceeded my expectations. Eating the raw fish, I truly tasted the sea in my mouth, and the cooked fish was truly delicious. The ingredients are of high quality, and the chef's touch is delicate, without overdoing any of the seasonings. The scialatielli with red shrimp and pistachios were also excellent, and we ordered half portions because there were so many appetizers, all of which were generously sized, and they almost filled us up. The quality/price ratio was excellent, and the welcome was exceptional, making us feel right at home in a new, clean, and refined restaurant with an open kitchen. This will definitely be my go-to restaurant whenever I return to Nettuno for seafood, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Congratulations to the owner, Emanuele, a young man who already knows his craft very well, thanks in part to the consolidated experience of his father, who has run the restaurant for many years. Keep it up, you're doing great!
