Sottocoperta In Portofino

The waitress ignored us for 15 minutes, then took the order from people who came after us. When we finally brought it to her attention, she told us to keep waiting, that was not fair! 7 euros for a bottle of coca-cola 0.33 is a sad joke. They add a fee of 2 euros per person at the table at the end to the bill, a kind of forced tip... I recommend it to anyone who likes to overpay

Really fast, good price for the area and nice quality food- most complaints from reviews here are people being a bit naive to what a lot of Italian restaurants tend to be like. We have been to Michelin star restaurants which have had cover charges for example!

You pay for site, not quality. Friendly service, passable food, somewhat high prices.

A really fantastic place right in Portofino! I had the penne carbonara and squid with potatoes at Sottocoperta, both highly recommended. Super fresh, perfectly seasoned and simply really delicious. Plus this view… crazy. You sit right on the water, with a view of the small harbor and the hustle and bustle of Portofino. Especially in the evenings, when it slowly gets dark, a breathtaking atmosphere is created there, relaxed, stylish and yet pleasantly calm. If you want to eat well in Portofino and enjoy a beautiful ambience at the same time, this is the right place for you. The price is of course Portofino level, but the quality, location and service absolutely justify it. I'd love to come back!

For those who want to eat well and spend the right amount - super Ligurian sea bass - excellent pesto
