A true Roman trattoria where you can enjoy home-cooked Roman cuisine... an absolute rarity in central Rome, where almost all restaurants are tourist traps.
A must-see for anyone looking for a lively atmosphere, fair prices, and essential service. Due to organizational reasons, we sat down with another couple we didn't know. After the awkward first few seconds, we had a great time!

Very impressive place.
I went with some friends includimg a chef and we were very impressed with everything.
The restaurant is very small and table and chairs remind me the small family owned restaurants I used to go with mum and dad when I was a kid. The very opposite of fancy.
Food is incredible. The menu is hand written and has plenty of options for every dietary requirements.
The service is fantastic. Top place really!

On the pricy side of the scale. I went solo and waited less than 10 minutes. Service was quick and friendly. I had pappardelle with wild boar ragu - it was good but not outstanding. However, the panna cotta I took with jam was so good that it brought tears to my eyes 🥹 (I am a panna cotta passionate)

Good but expensive, €40.50 for cacio e pepe, 3 meatballs, fried artichoke, and acqua frizzante. Better deals for just as good food elsewhere, but very rustic and classic vibes with kind staff

A very homey and delightful place in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. The best part is that it's a bit less crowded than other areas in Rome, and the food is excellent! Homemade food and flavors that thrill. We ordered fried tripe (our least favorite item), fried artichoke (delicious), and polpettas that looked like they were made by God himself.

As well traveled tourists, when we saw this place we thought it was a usual trap. But it turned out that the food was wonderful, honest, and tasty. And there was a lady who was warm and attentive to our table, which we really appreciated. There was a guy there too but he seemed a bit more rushed and less respectful. We do recommend it to others visiting Rome.

It's one of those must-visit places if you're traveling to Rome. A restaurant that has kept its traditions intact—what more could you ask for these days?
