Good simple home style cooking. A little pricey for what it is...
Dessert (cherry cake) was really good

I've known this trattoria since Sora Margherita was there, and it was only open for lunch.
It serves authentic Roman and Roman-Jewish cuisine, without compromise. Authentic flavors, reminiscent of grandmothers' cooking. Truly homemade fettuccine! Roman zucchini concia, oxtail stew, pan-fried oxtail slices, artichokes cooked in every way. All dishes that hark back to a time when the quality of the ingredients and dedication to the kitchen counted.
Concepts elsewhere have disappeared, making way for innovations devoid of character and tradition.
Long live Sora Margherita!!!
The service is fast and attentive. Prices are affordable when commensurate with the quality.

This place is a true gem in Rome. Located in the heart of one of the city's most characteristic neighborhoods—the Jewish Ghetto—it retains all the charm of a Roman trattoria of yesteryear.
The atmosphere is small, rustic, and authentic, just as you'd expect from a historic trattoria: few frills, plenty of substance, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home.
The cuisine is truly excellent, with simple dishes prepared with great care and a quality reminiscent of home cooking from days gone by. A special mention goes to the crostata: it truly seems like it was made by your grandmother, fragrant and authentic like those of yesteryear.
A perfect place for those who want to savor true Roman tradition, without artifice but with a touch of authenticity.

We arrived at 18:20 with hungry children, thinking the restaurant would be open. We had walked there in the pouring rain, but the staff took pity on us and actually opened more than an hour early for our family of 6. They brought bread right away and served the kids as quickly as possible, serving the rest of our delicious food soon afterward. We highly recommend the crispy fried artichokes and osso buco, but even more recommend the kind service that we received tonight! The kids’ artwork on the walls shows how they care for families.

Two weeks ago, I saw a post on Reddit saying "don't go to places like this in Rome," and they had a picture with a brightly-painted restaurant with a bunch of plants outside and English words. People replied, "That's great, but how do we know where to go?" and someone posted a picture of a building with really old stonework, a small sign, and a tented area outside.
I mentally said, "That's great, but how do I find this place?" and saw that some Reddit hero posted a Google Maps link... and it was a block from our hotel.
It was very busy, but we will definitely be back. The hand-written menu took some time to parse through, but we were able to figure it out and get some very delicious food

The best restaurant in Rome, in my opinion. Everything is delicious, from the starters and main courses to the side dishes and desserts. I've been going there for several years and it never disappoints.

Disappointed with the menu: no matriciana, no carbonara, no coda.
The rigatoni were served with sauce added without creaming and not much pecorino.
The artichoke was excellent.
