Sonamu Korean Restaurant In Torino

Nice place to have a taste of Korean cuisine. Prices a little high, especially when compared to other Asian cuisine offerings and considering that the portions were not very generous. The tteobokki (dumplings) had a great consistency and I liked them. A little less satisfied with the dimsum (ravioli), light yes but I have eaten better. Very good the bulgogi (beef) which was accompanied by a caramelized onion sauce on the sweetish that enhances the meat but after a while risks tiring.

What an amazing place! Delicious Bibimbap for a good price. Went there twice, even though, I should rather enjoy the piemont cuisine 😂😅 Tells you, how good it is! Will miss this place! Go and try it yourself

Totally positive experience. We chose the table without grill. The food is something completely new, flavors that are difficult to find in a restaurant. The staff doesn't appear to be Korean, but that's understandable (there are only just over 3000 Koreans living in Italy!). However, everyone was very kind, helpful and prepared, the dishes arrived quickly, the two of us spent 55 euros for 5 courses, 2 drinks and a bottle of soju. For me it was definitely worth it. Owner helpful and friendly.

Exquisite food, we have been going there every now and then for years and the quality has remained the same without absurd price increases. Perhaps the menu has also expanded, now there are many vegetarian options and various degrees of spiciness. I've never tried the barbecues, but the various rice dumplings, bimbap, kimchi are fabulous. Always friendly staff, clean and relaxing environment.

Second time for me, a quality ethnic restaurant that is now very well known in Turin

Quiet environment with both normal tables and plates for cooking some food yourself. The dishes are good but I recommend focusing on those prepared by the restaurant and not those made by yourself on the plate. Not because the raw material is bad, on the contrary, but because they don't give you any exotic experience (if you cook meat it's still meat... you might as well make it at home). I didn't find any particular flashes but we ate well. Service a little confusing but friendly. Often the dishes do not arrive in sync with all the guests and often someone has to wait too long. Average prices.

È stato il primo approccio in assoluto ad una cucina che non conosciamo per nulla. Quindi la nostra recensione ha un valore relativo. in ogni caso ci siamo trovati bene. il locale è elegante e non assomiglia esteticamente ai normali ristoranti orientali tipo giapponese. Alcuni piatti sono abbastanza piccanti Ma nel complesso abbiamo assaporato gusti nuovi e interessanti. Non dimenticate di assaporare il kimchi tipico il cavolo coreano fermentato e piccante. Personale gentile e molto disponibile.

Il ristorante carino è carino e luminoso ed i tavoli sono ben separati. Cosa che ho molto apprezzato ed il posto è perfetto per una serata informale. Il personale è stato molto cordiale, disponibile e veloce. I menù sono fatti bene ed hanno anche la descrizione La pulizia del locale, almeno in sala, era ottima. Gran parte dei tavoli hanno la caratteristica griglia per fare il barbecue. Noi abbiamo mangiato non al BBQ, ma penso che si possa scegliere cosa grigliare ed il tipo di carne. Appena ci siamo sedute ci hanno portato un tris di assaggini tra cui il caratteristico kimchi. Il tutto offerto dalla casa, come da prassi koreana. Le porzioni sono un po' piccole rispetto ai vari ristoranti coreani provati in diverse parti di Italia. Noi abbiamo preso: - Kimchi Mandu, ravioli con kimchi e pancetta (4 pezzi) - Kimchi Jeon, focaccia con kimchi - Tteokbokki poco piccante, gnocchi di riso saltati in salsa piccante con verdure - Jjajangmyeon, pasta di grano condita con crema di soia, manzo e verdure - Una birra Cass (coreana) - ottima - Haetae Koko Pampodo, bevanda alla frutta con gelatina di cocco con aroma di cocco e uva Tutto buono, e direi ottimo se non lo paragonassi ad altri ristoranti (non di Torino). I prezzi sono quasi tutti nella media, ma quelli delle bevande sono un po' alti. Soprattutto le bottiglie di soju. 14 euro per 350 ml.???? Unica nota negativa la distanza dalla metro più vicina, ma nel viale dove si trova ci passano diversi autobus e a poche decine di metro c'è un parcheggio taxi.
