Pleasant refreshment point at an altitude of 2000 m. Easily reachable from Sestriere with a walk suitable for everyone lasting about an hour, without difficult slopes and with breathtaking views of Mount Chaberton and the Argentera Valley. Friendly service and excellent, substantial food. Highly recommended.

Always a very nice place. The management has changed and we had a great time, the boy who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. Table service and good quality dishes.

The polenta concia and the polenta with sausage are excellent, the tagliatelle with venison sauce are delicious and the desserts are excellent! Friendly and helpful staff! Compliments! Beautiful mountain view!

A magnificent place, where I always like to pass. The view is splendid. But... I bought 2 slices of cake... 5 euros each, okay, but very small!!! Come on! They were good, but well, they were one portion, not two!

Ragazzi non leggete le vecchie recensioni, perché dalla stagione invernale 2023/2024 la gestione di questo posto stupendo é cambiata.
Adesso il cibo é ottimo, la vista sempre mozzafiato, e il servizio giovane e molto gentile.

Abbiamo scoperto Soleil Boeuf grazie agli ottimi suggerimenti fornitici a Sestriere. Dopo una gradevolissima passeggiata (mai difficile o troppo impegnativa) di circa 1,5 ore siamo arrivati alla spianata del Boeuf che ci ha accolti con uno scenario maestoso fronte Chaberton.
Personale accogliente e servizievole. Il cibo è stato di eccellente qualità (smash burgers e tagliatelle ragù di cervo).

Review relating to the summer period (I haven't been in winter with snow).
enchanting place where the beauty is precisely the journey to get there... no chairlift (it doesn't work in summer), a walk in the woods of about an hour (whether you arrive from Sestriere or San Sicario). Breathtaking view and organization with terraces, deckchairs, children's games, a football pitch... in short, recommended!

Soleil Boeuf is a classic mountain restaurant, both in summer and winter, perfect, in the first case, for those who need a break after a long walk.
We ate one dish each for lunch, the tagliatelle with venison ragù were very good, the generous salad with tuna and tomatoes and finally the hamburger with pulled pork was appetising.
The only flaw, if we want to call it, are the very high prices of the dishes.
The service was very quick and courteous, the surrounding environment gives a good idea of the mountains.
