27/03/2024: We went for lunch on a Tuesday, it was one of the few places open. We took two mixed starters, a pappardella with wild boar and a carbonara... the starter was good, shame about the porchetta not being very fresh, but still pleasant. The pappardelle was also good, the real problem was the carbonara: definitely too light, it barely tasted like egg... I wondered if there was any cream/milk to make it creamier... the bacon was good. I'm sorry for having eaten a carbonara like that but I hope I'm wrong, and that maybe egg whites were also added instead of just the yolk (which I would have preferred not to have been done anyway). However, for two starters, two first courses, 1/2 liter of wine, a water and a coffee, we paid 43.50 with a 20% TheFork discount. In general I wouldn't go back, but with the discount I might give it a second chance, perhaps trying something else. Friendly service and nice place.
21/03/2024: For a trip out of town, a stone's throw from Rome, I recommend this tavern.
I was satisfied with both the carbonara with artichokes and the tripe, both true delights for the palate
The service provided by the staff was also impeccable: friendly, attentive to needs and made the whole experience even more pleasant. As for the environment, it is welcoming and inviting to the point of creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
I can't wait to return to try other delicacies from their menu.
