Well structured place, especially in the external area where a street has also been decorated. Well-served dishes of excellent workmanship with high quality products. Correct prices and very selected wine list. The classic Apulian method drunk was very good and refined. Friendly and very competent, professional staff who always give that something extra to the restaurant.

Localino veramente ben pensato tra le particolari vie di Otranto… camminando vieni accolto da una bellissima ragazza, gentilissima, che ti propone il menù e ti invita a sedersi. Bella scelta è stata fermarsi per un aperitivo/cena. Propone piatti di pesce e stuzzichini di mare. I nostri piatti, ben fatti, hanno soddisfatto il nostro palato. Spesa nella media, idea locale adatta al luogo di mare. Sofish… SoGood, Bravi e grazie.

Andateci se cercate: ambiente informale, fresco, allegro e super colorato. Andateci se volete gustare dell'ottimo pesce. Insieme al mio compagna abbiamo cenato qui una sera in settimana. Come antipasto una porzione di fritto misto accompagnato da una porzione di patatine fritte, entrambe in quantità generosa. La frittura impeccabile e non unta. A seguire abbiamo preso (io) un'insalata di salmone, il filetto di salmone era una porzione molto generosa e un panino con il polpo, delizioso. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimale.

We sat comfortably at a table on the side street. The service is friendly, but the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Portions too small and the roll with Polpo relatively dry and unseasoned.

28/01/2025: It’s a no-frills, simple restaurant frequented by locals. The pizzas are huge and very good. You will get what you pay for! The service is friendly. On the other hand, try not to pay too much attention to the music otherwise you will realize that the same song is playing in a loop every 2 minutes :-) A good alternative to the more “tourist” oriented restaurants in the historic center and on the seafront.
15/12/2024: Pizza extra large spettacolare e servizio eccellente. Consiglio anche il locale, elegante e raffinato. Da provare assolutamente per trascorrere una serata gourmet

Caffè trattoria Da Eleonora

26/12/2024: In the Piazza del Palazzo Ducale in Alessano, the air smells good and the fresh breeze inebriates you. We had dinner in this extremely welcoming place. Mrs. Eleonora herself showed us the menu. We tasted excellent fish and very fresh local products, well presented and with generous portions. Adequate prices. Well done! We returned because the restaurant and location won us over, we learned that the management is familiar and well looked after by Mrs. Eleonora and her three children. The girl who followed us explained the interesting history of the ancient building in which the restaurant is located and which was owned by the Sangiovanni dukes and has recently been restored. For dinner we were offered an amazing rosé wine with exactly the required characteristics. In short, everything was excellent: loction, food service and good wine. Compliments!!
19/10/2024: Excellent cuisine with top quality materials, I recommend the fish, but the meat is also very good. Very friendly and fast service and reasonable costs. Congratulations Eleonora and Antonio
