If you are more interested in substance than form this is the place for you. The restaurant is the classic Piola, where the food is fresh and home-cooked according to Piedmontese tradition, served on the terrace by capable and friendly staff. We went for dinner, the menu is fixed, consisting of around 7 starters, two first courses and two second courses, with dessert, water, house wine and coffee. All for less than €30 each. Absolutely worth trying, booking is recommended.

We had dinner, starters, 3 first courses and two second courses... the portions of the starters were just right to be able to get to the end of the meal... the three first courses were delicious, the vegetable puree, the agnolotti made by them and the couscous proposed by the assistant cook... the second courses were roast (thinly sliced) and the guinea fowl... the wines were also excellent... spending 26 euros per person

8 courses of appetizers! 2 first courses and 2 second courses all at a fixed price all you can eat. Excellent quality and unbeatable value for money. Beautiful location in the fascinating medieval fortress of Rivalba with a view of the castle tower. In short, we will be returning many times.

I review the workers' menu from Monday to Friday. I'll start by saying that the price is incredibly competitive, and for the quality/price ratio I give it a 4, even if looking only at the food I would give it a 3.
Cooked salami, raw salami, robiolina, vegetable puree, risotto with morel vegetables and sauce, spaghetti with meat sauce, sausage, chicken, pork steak, baked potatoes, spinach, coffee, water, wine €12.50!!! At this price you cannot expect gourmet cuisine.
What suffers the most is the pasta/rice: the course is served directly from large, suggestive pots, which do not guarantee eating al dente, on the contrary. Overall, however, the food is good and on weekends the quality goes up (and so does the price).
There is a nice courtyard with tables in the shade (in this period it is still a little cool but you can see the hills and the spring blossoms).
