While on vacation, we arrived in Cisternino and stumbled upon the snack bar. We received an excellent welcome and a very comprehensive buffet. We had the octopus in a sauce with potatoes and the broad bean purée with chicory. The price was very reasonable, and the staff, who spoke a little French, were very friendly. I recommend this place.

Don't be fooled by the ordinary appearance of the place when you are outside on the street. Step in and experience the warm and welcoming staff and the tastiest panzerotto. The place seems to be favoured by the locals and no wonder why. It become our new favourite spot in Cisternino.

16/03/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood pasta dishes which were made with fresh and flavourful ingredients. We visited for lunch with our well behaved Labrador and were immediately seated with no issues. The waitress was kind, attentive and even brought us some cold fresh water for our pup.
15/03/2026: On our way back from a trip, we stopped in Brindisi for lunch at this restaurant. We ordered a delicious seafood sauté, two first courses: pacchero with monkfish and linguine with scampi, both plentiful and with a delicious sauce. Finally, fried calamari, which was a little chewy but ultimately delicious. We were very satisfied, and will return as soon as we return to Brindisi.
