The staff is very kind and welcoming. The hot chocolate is topped with whipped cream and dusted with cocoa powder. It was simply delicious. I went back throughout the week. However, the crepe wasn't great, a bit too crispy, I'd say.

Bar located in the heart of the ski slopes in Bardonecchia, they don't offer table service, but the prices are average, especially for where they are located. They also offer both aperitifs and lunch... a positive experience!

Nice panino though I’m still not entirely convinced the green napkins needed to be that intimate with the bun. I may have eaten part of one, but at least the chocolate cake made up for it: a generous slice for just 5 euro, the perfect reward after a long morning on the slopes. With limited options around here, we ended up at Smith’s a couple of times. The cashiers weren’t exactly masters of queue management and seemed a touch dismissive, but nothing worth raising an eyebrow over. Their Sacher was lovely, though my attempt to order it in English (I called it chocolate cake) didn’t land. Clearly my German/Italian needs a little polishing.

We grabbed a quick sandwich at this ski-in/ski-out bar. The sandwich itself wasn't bad, but there was a problem with the tomato and mozzarella one: they heated it up, but the mozzarella stuck to the green napkin, taking away the color and paper from the napkin! Not great, in short.
