Nice panino though I’m still not entirely convinced the green napkins needed to be that intimate with the bun. I may have eaten part of one, but at least the chocolate cake made up for it: a generous slice for just 5 euro, the perfect reward after a long morning on the slopes. With limited options around here, we ended up at Smith’s a couple of times. The cashiers weren’t exactly masters of queue management and seemed a touch dismissive, but nothing worth raising an eyebrow over. Their Sacher was lovely, though my attempt to order it in English (I called it chocolate cake) didn’t land. Clearly my German/Italian needs a little polishing.

We grabbed a quick sandwich at this ski-in/ski-out bar. The sandwich itself wasn't bad, but there was a problem with the tomato and mozzarella one: they heated it up, but the mozzarella stuck to the green napkin, taking away the color and paper from the napkin! Not great, in short.

A beautiful place to relax with a view worthy of the mountains. Bardonecchia is a spectacular place for me, a ski enthusiast. The location is beautiful, the food is amazing, what more could you ask for? Oh, and there are loungers for sunbathing whenever you want. Well deserved 5 stars, well done!

A place with potential. But why don't they separate waste?

A truly beautiful place, with a refined and pleasant atmosphere. Super efficient, kind, and welcoming staff, always ready to satisfy every request. Excellent value for money. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend it!

If I could give 8 stars I would… top welcome, top aperitif on August 15th, magnificent
