I don't understand the negative reviews, the waitress changed tables for us to be in the shade and she was smiling, and instead of taking the sandwich for 9€ recommended the menu for 8.50€, (sandwich + drink) at final the price paid and the good one...

We stopped here for a coffee and cold drinks after climbing the Duomo, I'm not sure what the bad reviews are for but we found the staff very friendly (and we were speaking English to them), the coffee was good and the croissants tasty. Amazing views under shaded umbrellas of the cathedral, you can't really get any closer. We got the coffee and croissant and orange juice breakfast menu deal for €7,50, which is tourist prices but we were so hot we were just happy to sit down and look at the view! Maybe it's expensive for sandwiches and beer as other reviewers said, but for a quick drink and pastry I couldn't fault them.

Just beneath the Campanile in Florence, this tiny coffee stop will surely provide you with a romantic and photogenic scenario of the Duomo. Expectedly, prices here are bit on the high side compared to the typical places in Italy. We ordered a cappuccino, espresso and 2 crossaints. Crossaints were delicious (and worth the price). Customer service was excellent. If you intend to have a small coffee break beneath the Duomo, then this is it.

We ate ice cream there and were satisfied. The location at the cathedral is great, the ice cream was very tasty (and rich), as was the cappuccino. The staff was friendly, but the toilet wasn't clean and you couldn't wash your hands because the water was out. The very high prices are equally critical.
