A historic and quaint venue. A simple yet incisive menu, as is the beer selection. The availability of Guinness has always been appreciated. Unfortunately, prices have become expensive, and it's no longer possible to have a pleasant evening without spending much or even the right amount. A can of Coke for €4 or a (single) almost empty sweet crepe for €6 are above average.

We've been to this pub on more than one occasion (the last one just a while ago) and I have to say we've always had a great time 👍. Inspired by the famous corsair, as the name suggests, the place is located in Sant'Ignazio (a neighborhood in Padua) right next to the church ⛪. From the outside it may seem like any other place, but the interior is very well-kept and welcoming. The service is excellent, thanks also to the staff 🧑🏻👩🏻 who are always courteous and professional. I recommend trying the crêpes 🥞, both sweet and savory, which I never fail to order (the last one I tried was really good 😋, with asparagus and parmesan 🧀). RECOMMENDED 👍. Historic place, one of the first breweries in the city, wooden furniture and leather sofas, beautiful 😀
