I had the chance to try a wonderful experience at the Sikulo Restourant restaurant on Thursday 14th. Excellent quality food combined with excellent preparation which represented a small journey into taste. The dinner was special thanks also to the service offered by the waiter, who was very kind and friendly, who made us feel pampered throughout the experience.

Thanks to the good reviews and the -50€ discount with TheFork, we wanted to try this restaurant. The place is small, but well organised, there aren't too many tables and you can eat without too much noise. Having overcome the problem of the booking time (booked for 1.30pm, moved by them to 2.30pm but I didn't know anything about it), they let us sit without waiting as a table became free in a few minutes. The staff are very courteous and welcoming, we chose, then ordered. 2 starters: peppered mussels and sweet and sour swordfish caponata. Dishes arrived very quickly, the caponata of thick swordfish was very good. Moving on, we order a plate of fried calamari and a first course of the chef's knock (calamari, mussels, cherries, etc etc). The calamari rings were not fresh, the pasta dish good but I wouldn't take it again. We continue with 2 slices of dessert (Fedora and oreo cake), 2 bitters. The Oreo cake is excellent, the Fedora a little less so. With a €20 bottle of wine, water and cover charge (4 euros each!), a total of €110. Fortunately, net of the 50 euro discount we go down to 60. I would say that the food is good, we chose fish-based dishes but I must say that they didn't excite me. The fried calamari rings (frozen) were too expensive (18 euros). The land menu is worth trying, but in any case the quality/price ratio is too low in my opinion. Prices too high.

Excellent food and service as well, nice and well-kept place. Except that it's excessively expensive, €4 cover charge seems like an exaggeration to me. An appetizer for 2 of raw fish (so a taste), a mixed grill (with asterisked fish and therefore not fresh) and a side dish of grilled vegetables (only aubergines and courgettes), a bottle of water and a cola we cost €80. It is certainly excellent for tourists but for locals, there is much more to eat good fish at much more affordable prices
