SIKULO Restaurant In Catania

Very kind to foreigners. We asked for a recommendation and they suggested we chose a fish from the day's catch. Completely worth it.

Definitely recommend this restaurant! Everything is just perfect. The fish I had was amazing, even almost finished the soup at the end!

Centrally located in Catania, just steps from Piazza della Repubblica and the Vecchia Dogana. A modern, elegant, well-lit restaurant with a vaulted ceiling. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always attentive (no need to ask, they even refilled bread and replaced cutlery and plates). The food was delicious: excellent raw seafood (everything fresh), delicious swordfish parmigiana (it went so quickly I didn't have time to photograph it), fish panzotti with pumpkin, cherry tomatoes, and clams (a delight for its flavor and melt-in-the-mouth feel), and truly flavorful spaghetti with clams. We finished lunch with a delicious tiramisu (also so good I missed a photo) and a coffee. Lunch was accompanied by water and a good Grillo "Mulino a Vento" (Windmill Grillo). Excellent value for money (we paid €75 in total, including €16 for wine). In conclusion, compliments for: the quality of the ingredients, the skill of the chef (open kitchen), and the professionalism of the staff.

Booked through The Fork. The place is welcoming, the food excellent. I think the cover charge is excessive (4 euros).

Highly recommended. The only downside: the crappy online map and, unfortunately, no website.

Piacevole ritorno in questo ristorante a pochi passi dal Duomo . Locale tranquillo, ordinato e tavoli ben disposti. Più che soddisfacente la qualità dei piatti e servizio rapido e cortese. Toilette molto ordinata. Sconto The Fork applicato.
