Excellent fish, amazing combinations, friendly service, good value.

A sushi lover, I came to dinner here with a friend because he already knew this place, having ordered takeout a couple of times. We were seated at the counter and ordered a mix of items, including: Shrimp nigiri Scallop temari Octopus nigiri Salmon hosomaki Ionian gunkan Salmon sashimi Sushi set with various assorted pieces The quality seemed good to me, but I didn't find anything exciting enough to impress me, much less to believe it's a place that combines sushi with Sicilian flavors, because apart from the Mazara del Vallo shrimp, there's nothing Sicilian about it... they make these little sauces that enhance the sushi but don't remind me of Sicily at all. The thing that surprised me the most was the service... very friendly and kind for sure, and I can understand that in certain places the dinners are meant to be enjoyed, but to have these few dishes and wait about 30 min/45 min/1 hour for each one, then we are not there for much... we came in at 8.30 pm and left at 10.30 pm... and the great thing is that it is sushi, all cold things that do not need cooking but just a little creation and finalization, then given that the place must have had about ten people inside anyway, honestly it was a slightly unnerving wait that I did not like at all.

Sicilian is a guarantee! A tiny place you'd never notice, but inside you'll find wonderful, delicious food. High-quality seafood paired with Sicilian flavors. I've been going there for years and it's never disappointed me. The off-menu items are also excellent, and you can pair them with a good Sicilian wine. Daniele is incredibly nice, and the kitchen is fantastic. I always recommend it to everyone, and when I want to impress guests, I bring them here. The price is a la carte, so it's not like an all-you-can-eat, but it's absolutely worth it. Since I've known it, all-you-can-eat restaurants no longer exist for me. There's only a few seats inside, but they do offer takeout. It'll be the first thing I eat after my pregnancy!! So much stuff!

Came here out of curiosity, after a week of only proper Italian food. This place blew my mind. The crossover of traditional Sicilian with Japeanse shows a very unique combination of flavors and everything was executed very well. I went to town a bit, had several different sushi plates and the sakura mochi and it hit the spot perfectly.
