Siciloso In Torino

Ci siamo concessi una colazione di domenica mattina. Questo locale riunisce, come nella tradizione siciliana, la pasticceria con prodotti salati Come arancini, sfincioni, prodotti di rosticceria. Il locale sembra interessante ma la qualità non va oltre una media dignitosa. Abbiamo assaggiato l'iris ripieno di ricotta, piuttosto pesante ma comunque una volta tanto può piacere. Personale gentile, servizio al tavolo. Torneremo per provare i prodotti salati.

Siciloso is a place that offers some of the typical Sicilian recipes, ranging from the great classics such as cannoli and iris to arancine, through croissants and pizzas. We had breakfast on site, ordering a croissant filled with ricotta, an iris and a large Sicilian cannoli, as well as a coffee and a coffee cream. The quality of the desserts was extraordinary and also the abundance of the fillings, in fact I struggled to finish what I had ordered. The guys at the counter are friendly and the place, modest in size, is very well looked after. Advised!

I entered this place by chance, a pleasant surprise... kind and attentive staff. The food (at least what I tried) was delicious. They have some amazing desserts, really everything is very tasty. I will definitely come back again. Special mention for the cannoli, the pineapple tart is really good. The place is more than suitable for having brunch, which by the way was born in Turin, but became famous in Milan. However, here they don't miss anything, certainly not. So the only negative note was when I asked about the services... well, the toilet didn't smell good, maybe it's an isolated episode, I'll know for sure next time. However, for such a nice place and with such good food, it is serious not to clean the toilet or check it frequently during the day. I hope it's an episode in itself.

After being in the hospital almost next door... I got hungry, so I tasty fed myself with an arancino with scamorza and spinach and refreshed myself with coffee and almond granita. Then, I set off for my walk around the city.

Excellent service, as a Sicilian I can say that the food respects tradition. I also recommend it for those who don't know the flavors of Sicily to discover the most classic and non-classical dishes.
