10/10/2025: Excellent fried food Takeout service on time Location overlooking the sea

08/10/2025: We lived very close to this restaurant. So Torre Lapillo is quite a small village in Puglia. It doesn’t have too many restaurants. There are few much more expensive, which we went to, and we asked about La Mimi fish restaurant, and we were told that the food was just ok there, nothing special, and big lines there are just because it’s a cheap restaurant. So we decided to give it a try. We went there next day, were unable to get a table same night, and booked a table in 2 days. Little that we knew, that regardless of the reservation, the wait is extremely long. We could get a reservation earlier than 9 pm. We got there and waited for 1,45 minutes to get inside . Insane!!!!! I would never wait that long anywhere. So we got in, and let me tell you- they cook extremely fast and fresh and SUPER SUPER DELICIOUS!!!! Best meal we got in all of Puglia. Lived it. Deep fried sword fish was super tender, juice and extremely tasty. And everything else was very good as well. So my advice - make a reservation for the opening time- 7:00 pm, or 7:30, so you won’t wait to be seated that long
