Sichelburg In Falzes

Many thanks to the team at the beautiful Sichelburg! My wife and I had lunch here for our 25th anniversary and chose the surprise menu -> everything was a hit - including the wine pairing! The ambience is beautiful and the service was first class. Here I would like to highlight our cellar - when he even saw that I had used the wrong fork for a course and he then discreetly replaced it, I was really impressed - he knows his stuff :-) Thank you! We visited this restaurant on a recommendation. What can I say. The service is at a very good level. Unobtrusive and, what I liked most, the staff knows what to offer guests. For example, the chosen wine was very suitable for the main dish. In the question of what the dessert consists of, we received a detailed answer without any delays or assumptions (it is clear that the waiters know what they are talking about). The choice of dishes is not particularly large, but everything is prepared to a very good standard. Yes, we can say that the portions are not very large and the price per serving is above average, but the quality of the product and its taste are at a very good high level. Overall, we can confidently recommend this restaurant and we will visit it ourselves on our next vacation in these parts. P.S. Unaufdringlich und, was mir am besten gefallen hat, das Personal weiß, was es den Gästen anbieten soll. Zum Beispiel war der gewählte Wein sehr passend zum Hauptgang. Auf die Frage, woraus das Dessert besteht, erhielten wir eine ausführliche Antwort ohne Verzögerungen und Vermutungen (es ist offensichtlich, dass die Kellner wissen, wovon sie sprechen). Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist nicht besonders groß, aber alles ist auf einem sehr guten Niveau zubereitet. Restaurant at the height of the prices offered. The service is quality with smiling and helpful servers, very good dishes (personally the menu has 3 dishes of which we do not know the plate before being served (53€)

As always delicious, we returned today for lunch (the last time we had dinner in one of the stube) and sat outside on the terrace. Excellent quality and truly interesting combinations, always respecting local products. Finally, excellent customer care. A must if you pass through these parts.

We had dinner in this beautiful location on a cool summer evening. The quality of the food was really very good, but the service was not adequate for the price paid. It was slow, the dishes of all the diners were not all served together. We had to ask for lamps several times because they couldn't see our faces and the red wine was not served at the correct temperature.

There were six of us here and all six of us agreed: the ambience was appealing (exception: outside area: cheap furniture, dirty upholstery); Food partly very good, partly just mediocre; Service (female waitress) absolutely does not correspond to the upscale ambience, very rudimentary behavior: a shame. Gives the whole thing a very unpleasant aftertaste.
