This is a very good Indian restaurant with a huge choice of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant itself is a very nice environment, with soothing music and soft lighting. I also appreciated the air conditioning, which was much needed on the day of our visit. The waiter who served us was really helpful - when we ordered he was like “nope, that’s too much, you’re going to have one rice, not that type, with this other thing you’ll have bread instead” etc. We trusted his advice and he was right, because otherwise it would have been too much. I found that not only helpful - that’s exactly the kind of advice you need when you’re ordering from an unfamiliar menu - but also very ethical, because they could easily have made twice the money from a bigger order. The dessert we had, some kind of coconut thing, was absolutely divine. I can’t comment on the authenticity of the food as I’m not from India nor have I been to India, but I live in the U.K. where Indian restaurants are everywhere, and I would say Shiva would be more upper end than your local curry house. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

A very charming, unique, and beautiful place. It was my first Indian restaurant, so I was completely unsure of what to order. The extremely kind staff described each dish in detail and recommended dishes based on my tastes. The prices were very fair.

Pakora with mango salsa and dal was excellent, as were the rest. Friendly and helpful service, highly recommended!

I ordered take away - it was amazing! We tried many different dishes and it all tasted so good, definitely my favourite Indian food I’ve tried in Milan. Also good prices and friendly staff
