Shinzo Fusion In Ladispoli

I took some sushi to take away today as a friend suggested me this place. It was delicious, what a beautiful experience! I didn’t ask the guys working there’s names but grazie mille per il vostro servizio!

I give 4 stars for sushi in Ladispoli. I tried various dishes in the AYCE formula and overall, with the exception of a few dishes, I was satisfied (both sushi and otherwise). I found all the dishes tasty (apart from the sashimi). Too bad it was cold inside the room which in my opinion should have been heated better. Service rather slow even though there were few people in the room. In the end at least 5 courses that I had ordered did not arrive and I had to ask and list them to the waiter (this is the second time this has happened to me in this place).

We ordered various dishes (clouds, Cantonese rice and rice with prawns, rice spaghetti, chicken with almonds, nigiri, wakame and usuzukuri) to take away and the very kind Giada welcomed us, had us prepared and wrapped, differentiating hot and cold foods, everything with professionalism. Some generous packages, others average. 20% discount and free beer because we had spent around fifty euros.

Pricey place, nice waiters, only thing: huge plate of sushi that we were waiting for with trepidation, I go to taste it and notice a strange flavor and consistency, as if it were fermented and lumpy, touching it with chopsticks looked like soggy disgusting cream. The Bearded Waiter took him back to the kitchen once the facts were stated.👍🏻

The environment is normal, the food overall isn't bad but there are some things that could be improved. The waiting times in our case were a bit long. Two uramaki arrived with less ingredients, this is the case of potato uramaki which arrived without potatoes, when we asked for explanations they tried to tell us that the potatoes were usually under the Philadelphia or that perhaps they were finished without being too clear, if the ingredient that gives the uramaki its name is missing, it would be appropriate to inform the customer also for the sake of correctness. The fortune cookies are unfortunately old so as soon as we opened them we threw them away due to the strong smell. Prices are average.

The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, suitable for dates and gatherings with friends. You can experience Asian cuisine. If you're from Asia, it's like coming home.
