Stunning atmosphere with supreme crab sushi! After a lot of research, I found this sushi place on Google maps that looked good. I am a huge lover of sushi and eat it in every city I visit. It didn’t disappoint at all. I had: Mr. Crunchy Roll (with crab) - was 9.5/10, they nailed the taste. Highly recommended if you like crab sushi. Nagoya - 7.5/10, to be honest this is not the best eel sushi I ever ate but it wasn’t bad either. It was very decent but it lacked that eel spice, was a bit too gentle for my taste. Service is really good; waiters are attentive but don’t intrude on privacy. Atmosphere is VERY intimate, it’s dark inside and very romantic, you have a feeling it’s just you and your partner in a restaurant. Top notch decor. All in all, will be coming back here! Keep in mind that urumaki is at around 20€ per 6-8 pieces and nigiri is also around that so it’s not the cheapest option but it’s definitely worth it for me, great value for money taking into consideration it’s Rome.

The restaurant isn't bad at all, you definitely won't get ripped off, the staff is super friendly and helpful, maybe a little pretentious with the prices, the wine, apart from a couple of 40 euro labels, ranges from 55/60 and up. In any case, the place is well-kept, a positive experience.

It was very fancy inside and there were so many sushi options. We tried 6 rolls, all of them were fabulous. Our party of 4 were the only ones in the place until around 9pm. The atmosphere is great and the food was even better. Definitely give this place a try if you want a break from pasta!

Very nice location even if it is right on the road, very well-kept inside. Quality oriental fusion cuisine. I really enjoyed the black cod and the rice with vegetables. Wide choice if you want to eat sushi and I recommend trying their chocolate cake. Knowledgeable and very kind staff.

I want to give a positive review to this beautiful location and not only. The staff is really kind, helpful, attentive and contributes to the beautiful atmosphere that you feel when entering the restaurant. It was my first time in an à la carte sushi and I confirm that after this experience, as I imagined it would be, you can't go back. The quality of the products is felt and also the imagination and creativity of the chef in combining flavors. I discovered this place thanks to the sushi course they organize. I recommend you go to the site and discover all their proposals. A special thanks to Teodora, who by following us for all the info we requested, made this experience perfect. See you soon ❤️

I went to Shinto for dinner with friends and we left enthusiastic. The place is really elegant and well-kept, with a relaxing atmosphere and super kind and professional staff. The sushi is among the best I have ever tried in Rome: very fresh ingredients, careful presentation and balanced flavors. We had several dishes - including the Black Cod and some special rolls - all truly exceptional. The price is in line with the quality and experience. I will definitely return, highly recommended for those who love high-level Japanese cuisine.

Shinto is a guarantee! Friendly and helpful staff, elegant venue, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Kitchen with a view, very comfortable sofas and armchairs, prices that match what you eat! The fish is presented beautifully, full of flavors and smells! The waiters were very helpful in offering advice. If you go for dinner you have to book, I was there for lunch and you don't need a reservation, you can usually find a place! Easily reachable from Via Veneto on foot, otherwise Ludovisi parking is very close or on the road for a fee. The only note is that the tables are very close together and there is little privacy between one table and another. For the rest nothing to say, it also offers many healthy options!

24/07/2025: We received very helpful and thoughtful service. Our little one was a bit restless, and the staff kindly gave us paper and pens to draw with – it worked like a charm and kept them calm. On top of that, we had a delicious meal. 10/10 – we will definitely be coming back!

26/07/2025: We went for dinner and opted for the MODE XL forty menu. The atmosphere was refined, and the wait staff was friendly and professional. The only slight oversight was when serving the "II Atto" (Act II), when the radish was presented to us as radicchio. Overall, I enjoyed the food. Some dishes were truly fabulous ("A Shrimp at the Amusement Park," "Intensity of Flavors," and "Lamb"), while others didn't convince me ("Act II" and "Catch of the Day"). Throughout the tasting menu, I found Asian influences and bitter herbs too prevalent, appearing in almost all the salads, in one of the first courses ("Cavalli"), and finally in the first dessert. The real flaw, which I couldn't accept, was finding a hair in the "La Dolce Clara" dish (pictured). I pointed this out immediately after the dish was served, and the wait staff promptly replaced it and apologized. This was hardly acceptable in a Michelin-starred restaurant. I left the restaurant feeling disappointed, and despite the apologies, I remained.
