Dinner organized by American Express (and certainly not free and/or cheap). Range Rover brand (including a hanging picture and cushions and coasters with the brand clearly visible, which I'm not sure what they had to do with the venue or the organization). But okay. Extremely noisy atmosphere. Tables not well spaced. Some dishes were good, many others were absolutely unremarkable. The welcome at the entrance was a bit distant. The place was cold and far too dark. Not up to par, and I'm not just talking about expectations. Friendly staff. Thanks, but we won't be returning.

Excellent Japanese food, very delicate and delicious. The rolls are not bulky and delicious, fit right in your mouth. Heavenly flavors. Highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Five hearts on my scale.

Classy place. High-quality sushi. Fair price. Friendly and helpful staff. I travel the world, but I've only experienced a few places this welcoming and romantic. Highly recommended!!

We were hoping for something better: the food was good, but not worth the price. There was little attention to detail and presentation. We went for dinner and found the place noisy and dimly lit.

This is the SHINTO I recognize! The 2.0 version of Shinto Milano is—finally—a restaurant worthy of the city, embodying all the expertise of the historic Roman restaurant. It has nothing to do with the previous management: the restaurant is elegant and, above all, the service lives up to the food. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes are consistently top-notch. Two dishes I particularly enjoyed: tuna sashimi (toro) and the beetroot and scallop roll. The wine list? Extensive and with a fair markup for Milanese standards. Honestly? I was hoping for a reopening, and they exceeded my expectations! See you soon!

Dinner exceeded expectations. Superlative food. Even my gin and tonic was memorable. The atmosphere was perfect for conversation and company. We'll be back very soon.

24/01/2026: Whoever is posting less than 5 stars is out of their minds. I've been in Michelin restaurants all around the world, from NYC, to Brazil, to Rome, to Australia. This is simply one of the best in the world! Stop whatever you're doing and try to get a table at Il Paggliacio (email them!). You're welcome btw
15/12/2025: The sensory, olfactory, and taste experience was adequate for the level. I found some of the pairings, including the wine, a bit tight, but my companion didn't.
