Shaval In Pompei

Warm, almost magical environment with all the lights turned on in the evening. When it is summer the roof is full of greenery, while in winter the closed roof displays little lights that look like stars. You are always greeted with a smile by the very kind owners. The staff were polite and courteous.. The products are always first choice, I have been frequenting this place for some time now and I must say that I am more and more fascinated by it. We go as a couple with my husband, family and friends.. I highly recommend it!

Ok. The food was great, but I noticed that they took a long time to serve the food. They have convenient parking for Scavi di Pompei. The parking attendant told us that we would get one hour free if we ate there. But, that hour was the time we waited and ate the food there. So don’t fall for that.

Okay place, nothing too special. The portions are good. Probably one of the better sit down places in this area

CHIC! We had the opportunity to dine at Shaval on a Saturday evening, easily with a reservation. Large internal paid parking. The room inside is warm, rustic, wooden tables and soft lights which give a truly welcoming atmosphere. Very kind and professional waiters. Excellent and substantial pasta omelette for two people. "Croccopizza 2.0", the workhorse of the truly spectacular venue. Lightly fried croquettes and the creaminess of the stracciata give this pizza a unique taste. The only flaw was that in some places the pizzas were slightly raw in the dough, but the quality of the raw materials was very high. We concluded with an excellent cheesecake, generally a good assortment of desserts. Excellent value for money and strategic location a stone's throw from the center of Pompeii. Highly recommended!

Excellent pizza, light and tasty. The staff is very professional and pampers the customer with particular attention. I gladly return to try more as the menu ranges from first courses, meat and fish second courses, to delicious desserts. Maybe not on a Saturday night 😉.

Service was okay. Sparkling water bottles look reused and a bit dirty. Server forgot our plates and utensils. Pizza was underwhelming

Serata perfetta: cibo molto buono, personale estremamente gentile e veloce. Ottimo per qualità-prezzo.

Grandissimo. Sempre impeccabile. Tutto al top, dall'antipasto alla frutta. Impossibile sbagliare. Ambiente cordiale e tranquillo.

Was lovely! Pricey but we fount that as a whole in Pompeii so more than likely average for Pompeii prices
