Sgrano Gluten Free In Firenze

I went here this summer with a friend to eat schiacciata and the platters: everything is gluten-free and really delicious, you can't tell the difference at all. The schiacciata was excellent, maybe even a little too indulgent compared to what we usually try to eat 😄 The desserts are also excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Today I just stopped by to take a few photos, but I couldn't stop. The place is small, you can make reservations, but you can also eat inside.

This is a small place that doesn't take reservations. A little paradise for celiacs. The cheeses are also available lactose-free, which I found wonderful! I tried the schiacciate tasting, which was truly delicious with local ingredients and sophisticated pairings. Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent. Each one was better than the last, and there was no need to worry about gluten contamination.

We arrived right at lunchtime and opted for the takeaway menu as it was extremely busy, but the queuing system was quick and efficient. The focaccia was hands down the best gluten-free sandwich I’ve ever had. My husband isn’t gluten-free and even he said he couldn’t tell the difference — absolutely incredible.

All products are gluten-free, the schiacciata is delicious in any version, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The only downside is that the place is a bit small.

Coeliac here. This is a fully gluten free restaurant serving focaccia sandwiches. We arrived maybe 20 minutes before closing and they kindly still put through our order to take away 3 sandwiches. We also then walked home 15 minutes, so I'm adding the context that we were last order and didn't eat them immediately. Even still, I'd recommend these sandwiches. They're much larger than I thought they'd be, and the focaccia (gluten free) was good. I know it would be even better if we'd eaten them immediately -- gluten free bread has a habit of becoming chewier the longer you leave it after cooking/heating. I had the ham, mozzarella and a porcini pâté-like 'cream' and I'd recommend this. I also sampled the sausage, cheese and broccoli rabe, which was nice (although the sausage was quite pink in places -- I think that might be more common in Italy and not necessarily a sign it's undercooked!). Finally, I tried the salami, gorgonzola and aubergine, which was also good. Definitely worth stopping for lunch, especially if you have coeliac disease.

My boyfriend and I are both celiac, we had two schiacciate, they were delicious and filled us up. Fair price.

A great place for lunch or dinner near the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. They have a very interesting menu with pasta or pizza, including a glass of wine. The pasta can be gluten-free, the food is very good, and the wine is even better.
