Sesvenna Schutzhutte AVS In Malles venosta

Beautiful hutte, ski touring trails of varying difficulty around the area, friendly service, good food, homemade sausages, we loved David's speech before dinner. We came from far away, Prague only for the weekend, but we didn't regret it at all and we would be happy to go here again.

Last week we came to the Sesvennahütte via the high-altitude hiking trail along the Watles and were just as excited as we were a few years ago in the summer. After the long march you look forward to the cozy hut, cool drinks and delicious, warm food 😋 The landscape is always impressive for us northern Germans... Long story short... we will come back to you at some point! Thank you for a nice day of vacation!😃👍

The Sesvennahütte impresses with its warm hospitality. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a schnapps, which makes your stay special. The food is simple but very tasty and filling - just the thing after a day in the mountains. The rooms are simple, clean and absolutely sufficient for a stay in a cabin. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the entire team; you feel completely at home. The hut is beautifully embedded in the beautiful mountains and is absolutely recommended. Everything was great – thank you for the pleasant stay!

What can you say about a hut like this, embedded in a beautiful mountain world. We were warmly “welcomed” and were able to enjoy our rest to the fullest. The Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely delicious and the waiting time for it took about 20 minutes (the menu showed a waiting time of up to an hour). The whistling of the marmots was unmistakable during our stay and we were also lucky enough to see a few. For us it was a worthwhile destination...the Sesvennahütte. We were accompanied on our hike by the sound of a waterfall and wonderful panoramas.

The hike from Schlinig to the Sesvenna hut is very beautiful and also easy for children (from 5 years old). The last part is a steep gravel road, hiking boots are a must here (also for going down, otherwise you'll keep slipping). The waterfall is great, as is the small lake at the top of the Hütre. Unfortunately, the hut itself doesn't have enough outside seating for the summer rush - and when you have to sit inside after the really strenuous last stretch because there's nothing free outside and you can't enjoy the view, you feel a bit cheated. The food is delicious, but takes time (but the menu warns that the Kaiserschmarrn can take an hour).

Nice big cabin with good clean rooms. Good showers, but unfortunately we were not told that we had to pay 4 euros per person for them. We also had a good time and had a good meal.

Super nice hut team. Delicious food. Everything fine. We will be very happy to come back.

Fantastic location overlooking the Slingia valley and close to the pass. Excellent lunch. Attention payment only in cash.
