Sesvenna Schutzhutte AVS In Malles venosta

The refuge, closed in 2025 for renovation, can be reached from Slingia (parking lot) after about a 2.5-hour walk. It's easy, except for the last stretch below the waterfall, which is quite steep, but the road is wide and safe! The views are fantastic! And outside the refuge, there are green meadows, rocks, and very picturesque lakes. We ate there years ago, very well, but I don't know what we'll see after the renovation!

A hike to Sesvenna Alp is gorgeous…surrounded with loads of mountains with a stunning view to the valley. Unfortunately the building is closed for the whole year due to renovation. So make sure that you have some snacks with you…😋
