Serafino's Bar In Brunate

We went to this café for breakfast today... Excellent, we tried the almond cake... excellent, compliments to the pastry chef. We also bought various souvenirs, the prices were reasonable, and the lady was courteous and kind. A truly beautiful place.

We were waiting for the Funicolare at the top of Brunate area and found this little souvenir, bar, and dining place to get some snacks. We opted to sit outside under one of the umbrellas, and Phillipo, our server came over to introduce himself and take our beverage orders. Once he returned with our beverages, he took our food orders. We ordered sandwiches, pasta, and other foods. Overall, had a great experience and would return.

The coffee is pretty good The staff is very friendly

A lovely spot to rest and grab a beer after traipsing around Brunate. The service was friendly (and very accommodating to my very poor Italian) and the outside table, in the late afternoon hours, was relaxing.
