One word to describe Sentaku Ramen: travel.
The characteristics of this place are clear from the beginning, multiple references to Japan:
- wooden counters and chairs
- ordering via notepad with possible additions based on your preferences
- style similar to teppanyaki restaurants (intended as sitting in front of the chef and not as cooking on a hotplate) for a large part of the seats
- TV in the bathroom with footage shot in Japan
In short, if you are a lover of the Land of the Rising Sun, this is a trip for you, the ramen is delicious in all their variations, superb consistency and flavors, so after having raised expectations so much, let's move on to the negative aspects:
- As a small place with few seats, it is not possible to book but you have to go there in person and if you find the place full the wait will be about 30 min / 1 hour (personally it was worth the wait)
- Few hangers compared to the amount of customers, you end up piling your clothes on top of each other
Conclusion: I had a great time there, I tried the ravioli and the ramen and I was surprised by both, I can only invite you to try it and ensure full satisfaction in the aspects mentioned above, if the review was useful to you I invite you to leave a positive feedback.

Everything is more beautiful than good, a nice place and I really appreciate the mood of eating all crowded together at the counter without a reservation, but I was expecting a decidedly better ramen.
I didn't like the wagyu one, perhaps personal taste, the spicy one wasn't spicy at all and the burnt meat gave the broth a not very good flavour, perhaps it was strong since I had asked for extra.
No dorayaki, rather don't really serve them or find a way not to let them dry out like that...
All in all, a good dinner, but there are many ramen bars in Bologna where you can book, even sit at a normal table if you want, and, for one thing, they make the lamian in front of you, all this while paying less and eating better.

A little on the pricey side, but the shoyu ramen was quite good.
Would have loved an entire egg though.
Ebi gyoza were tasty, but none of them was closed properly, and split open by picking them up.
I don’t mind sitting beside strangers, but I had other clients bumping into me all the time so tight we were sitting.

Fantastic ramen in Bologna! No reservations, wait outside for a seat, and get taken in for brilliantly tasty ramen and sides the shi(o)take was epic and karage perfectly cooked. Asahi was on tap and great to pair with these ramen. The venue is small but cosy. Staff were efficient and helpful. Highly recommend as a place to drop in!

The ramen was really delicious and not hard to digest. The tables are all bar style so there are no real tables, nice if you are a couple, maximum 3 otherwise you won't be able to communicate. Quick and excellent service, average price for the city.
