In summer, eating in the Moncalieri square is evocative. Good food for an all you can eat...waiters not very friendly

Good quality All You Can Eat restaurant. It presents a wide assortment of raw dishes, including those based on meat. Fast service, even though at least 20 minutes must pass between one order and another. Tidy environment and courteous staff. Price of the lunch menu €14.90 during the week.

Difficult to choose between so many excellent dishes and beautiful presentation. Friendly staff, fast, sometimes too fast! Recently renovated place, on two floors, terrace and dehor overlooking the splendid and historic Piazza Vittorio Emanuele!

Nice place on the square in the historic center of Moncalieri. First time in a place like this, satisfied as the dishes were good and digestible. Good presentation, nice location (with the exception of the cash register cluttered with furnishings). Inviting and clean sushi preparation counter. Friendly staff. All in all a positive experience.

Pescheria Gallina

09/08/2024: A Porta Palazzo ci siamo imbattuti in questa suggestiva pescheria, che è anche punto di ristoro con menù esclusivamente a base di pesce, dove si può consumare un piatto con focaccia di accompagnamento e un bicchiere di vino o acqua o Molecola a 17 euro. L'ordine viene lavorato al momento nelle cucine a vista, non ci sono camerieri e ci si serve da soli andando a ritirare il piatto quando il cicalino suona. Il menù cambia tutti i giorni e non sono ammesse le prenotazioni per cui è bene arrivare presto ad evitare la coda. Addetti simpatici e informali, ottimo, consigliato.
18/07/2024: Gallina si trova nel cuore del Mercato di Porta Palazzo, a fianco alla tettoia dei contadini, a due passi dal Balon, cioè tre pezzi di storia di Torino. Il ristorante propone una formula molto semplice, con pochi piatti di pesce fresco che cambiano ogni giorno. Il personale è molto cordiale, si sta bene e viene voglia di tornare.
