We stopped there for lunch at short notice. The pizza and caprese were delicious. It was packed and loud, but we noticed that as soon as we went in and it didn't particularly bother us. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

in my opinion, delicious from the bruchetta starter, to the main courses of gnocchi with pomodoro and meat, to the spaghetti carbonara everything was good, generous atmosphere and a real Roman both in style and beauty.

Nice, simple restaurant with quick service and good, fresh italian food. Would recommend for a quick lunch or dinner.
Only negative is the high temperature. There is air conditioning, but with the large open door it felt like 35° (we came for lunch on a hot day in August).

It's right next to the Colosseum. I thought it was a tourist restaurant. The window display shows hand-rolled pasta. It's the best pasta I've ever eaten. The desserts are also super delicious.

You can watch pasta being made from the window outside - very cool!
The homemade noodles were delicious. In my opinion, the carbonara wasn't a success because the egg flocculated completely...
Very nice service, but the seating area was very narrow.
Would stop by again to watch and try tiramisu ;)

Excellent quality fresh egg pasta, to my taste I would have added a little more pecorino to the Carbonara to tone down the flavor and strong aroma of the egg in the sauce. But all in all a good dish... My advice would be to increase the typical dishes of the Roman tradition.

Très bonne situation à 5min du Colisée à pied. Service rapide avec des bonnes spécialités dans un cadre plutôt sympathique, malgré la petitesse du restaurant. Les plats sont corrects, mais pas exceptionnels. Les gnocchis sont très bons, mais ce ne fut pas le cas des lasagnes de ma femme. C’est dommage, ce restaurant pourrait vraiment se démarquer. Faire attention au nom sur la devanture, il n’y a pas marqué « Semplice ».
