17/07/2025: A truly top-notch pastry shop in San Pellegrino Terme!
A few steps from the QC Terme, this completely renovated space is truly beautiful!
This pastry shop offers single-serving pastries, cakes, and the famous "del Bigio" biscuits, which it's a mortal sin not to try.
Highly recommended.
12/07/2025: Due to thunderstorms and various road closures, we didn't arrive at the hotel with our six motorcycles until 7:30 p.m. Check-in was problem-free, and we were allowed to park in the courtyard. Most of the rooms were large, but the furniture was showing its age. At first, it was difficult to find the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, as we first had to find the "small" elevator at the end of the 1st floor. Early in the morning, we were awakened by loud noises from the courtyard, which turned out to be the busy activity of the in-house bakery. We had two experiences at breakfast. At the first breakfast, the "young" staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though there were only about 10 people there at 7 a.m. There were hardly any rolls available, or only a few were provided, which were then immediately gone. The cold cuts and cheese platters were empty after just a few people, and it took a long time to refill them. We also had to wait a very long time for coffee. On the second day, the opposite was true. By 7 a.m., the entire buffet was completely full. As soon as anything ran out, it was immediately refilled. The coffee was also served within five minutes, even though there was only one "mature" man on staff. He certainly had everything under control and was very friendly. A €2 tax per person was charged for two nights, even though this wasn't mentioned in the booking confirmation. We still thought the hotel was OK, as the location was good and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, we didn't use the in-house restaurant, as it seemed too expensive.
