An excellent canteen!!!! Luckily there is a salvation for those who work in the center and don't want to get ripped off by trendy places with mediocre food and high prices.

I often go to this place for lunch and overall I feel good. Wide choice of dishes, generous portions and more than good quality. Staff always very helpful and kind, the quality/price ratio is adequate, ample space available (even if the room adjacent to the kitchen is poorly heated). The only big, or rather huge flaw: the presence of only one cash register!!! Even on "normal" days it is practically impossible not to waste a lot of time in line and therefore often eat dishes that are little more than lukewarm.

Good choice if you need to have lunch after university or work. The dishes are good, but I think they serve a fixed menu at a more competitive price than other canteens. I think 12.50 is too high, also considering that in the second courses you can only choose between meat. By consuming normally, you also pay the cover charge and here too I disagree, given that we are in a canteen.

Good food apart from the fact that it is impossible for me to have fish main courses because they are ALWAYS prepared with olives which I don't like. Service to be improved: waiting up to 30/40 minutes to get to the checkout. The online service is a good idea but you can only pay by credit card and not with company cards so it's unusable as far as I'm concerned.

In the center of Modena, very popular with students and university professors but also with people in need as it is owned by the Curia. Good variety of first, second and side dishes and the quality of the food. Average prices, not scarce dishes, complete lunch for 12/15 euros but it depends on the choice. For example, 4/5 cod fritters, which are quite good, cost 8 euros. Nice environment, beautiful separate room with a splendid depiction on the wall, still under construction. A good choice for those who know the location.

18/03/2025: Per una sosta a Modena, abbiamo scelto questa trattoria/Hosteria e scelta non poteva essere più felice, ci sono vari taglieri con l’accompagno delle classiche tigelle, abbiamo scelto 4 taglieri diversi, e devo dire che i prodotti sono da gourmet, dal prosciutto d.o.p. alla mortadella fino ai salumi dal parmigiano d.o.p. alla pancetta stagionata, per non parlare delle zuppe, quelle abbiamo prese erano veramente gustose. Unica raccomandazione visto i pochi posti disponibili all’interno conviene prenotare in tempo, lo consiglio.
20/10/2024: Locale non grandissimo gestito bene da un gruppo di ragazze molto gentili. Non il classico ristorante ma un posto dove mangiare decentemente e velocemente. Allego foto menù ( che sono ben spiegati nei prezzi, basta leggere) che varia da menù composti( da 25 a 29€ a persona), taglieri con tigelle(da 12,90 a 15,90€), cestini con tigelle già farcite (da 9,50 a 10,90€), 5 tipi di zuppe( da 8,50 a 9,50€), alcuni piatti speciali e diverse opzioni per insalate e per i dolci ( a parte qualche classico ci sono anche tigelle dolci con Nutella, mascarpone,cocco, amarena etc). Sul sito si può avere un’idea del menù ed è possibile prenotare, anche tramite una chat whatsapp. Bene per un pasto veloce ed informale. Altra nota positiva mi hanno risolto un problema di fatturazione.
