Seebalm In Sarentino

Great hut and very tasty Kaiserschmarrn, very friendly host, very moderate prices! Nice and easy hike to Seebalm and on the way back we walked around Lake Durnholz! Super nice area 👍

Very beautifully located Alm that serves delicious, homemade food with friendly service. There is a nice playground for children. A beautiful, easy-to-do hike leads from Durnholzer See to Seeb-Alm on relatively steep forest paths in just over an hour.

We stopped on the way back from a nice tour for a sweet break. Choice between different traditional cakes. I got a classic strudel, but the options were really different. Furthermore, the portion was quite generous! Looking at the nearby tables, I must say that the dishes I saw were also quite tempting. Lots of animals and a peaceful atmosphere. We had a great time!

Typical South Tyrolean "alpine hut" with a beautiful open view of the valley... you can get there after a walk of about 45/50 minutes from the free car park before Lake Valdurna; several tables available, just sufficient quantity of dishes, tasty but not "memorable", normal prices; at the mountain hut you will find various animals including rabbits 🐰 chickens 🐓 goats 🐐.

had lunch today 10/08/24 Seebalm: high prices x small portions = 2 eggs + a little bread, omelette with speck and cheese...poor + 3 small beers at an exorbitant price...slow service...pity because nice environment!!!!

Spectacular mountain hut with farm animals. Free-roaming chickens arouse the curiosity of little ones, not to mention rabbits and their babies. We only ate dessert given the time of our arrival. Really good strudel and marmorkuchen. They certainly use fresh eggs, given that even while we were there, some hens found some.

Malga one hour walk from Valdurna. Quiet family-run place. Excellent food at more than fair prices. I recommend the strudel and the nettle juice. Very good.
