We were a group of campers visiting the castle of Agliè and we took the opportunity to have dinner together. The innkeeper called it a "snack" but it was a dinner with endless tastings of local products I had never tried. One better than the other! I recommend this experience, it was both tasty and original and at a very honest price. Thanks to the innkeeper, both for what he brought to the table and for his stories as the protagonist of the orangery at the Battle of the Oranges in nearby Ivrea.

We went to this restaurant during a fencing event and it was a great surprise. Very nice environment with sandblasted brick vaults, dark wooden tables set in a simple but clean way. We ate an organized menu with vitello tonnato agnolotti and peaches in chocolate. everything was really good and looked after.
But the added value was the extreme kindness of the owner and his daughter who tried to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions (NO WHEAT FLOURS, NO COOKED OILS, NO cheeses, no dairy products, NO YEASTS, NO WINES...) in short, in other places they would have sent us home. Thank you for the excellent service

Nice place, good food well presented and in the right portions, friendly staff, service with acceptable times, but...
There is a but: an unacceptable and correct choice which is not to have a menu at the tables or even a wine list with prices, but only posted outside. If you arrive not prepared for this "usage" you you have to ask the staff, who quickly recites the menu verbally, to also enter the prices for each dish, it's chaotic while you memorize everything the waitress says, don't lose the thread and also acquire the cost of the dish, it doesn't work!
Or you get up from the table and go outside to see what is listed for each dish and wine, outside the restaurant, do you think so? But it doesn't even comply with the law where there is an obligation to inform if there are frozen foods or allergens, what the ingredients of the dishes are so that those with intolerances can adjust. Do you think it's possible that the waitress could say all this while taking the order?! The rules in this regard are clear and it is certainly not enough to have a piece of paper "just" hanging outside the door.
If the innkeeper does not want to waste paper to frequently update the menu, there is the QR reading system that can ease his task and ensure that his customers do not lack the necessary information.
For these reasons I will not recommend this place, even though the cuisine is good.

Pranzo in famiglia per festeggiare l’anniversario di matrimonio. Porzioni abbondanti, piatti della tradizione piemontese e ovviamente fritto misto alla piemontese.
Cibo buono, personale cortese e prezzi assolutamente competitivi.
Forse unica cosa da migliorare il servizio che potrebbe essere un po’ più fluido..ma alla fine se si è in buona compagnia l’attesa non è male.
