A very pleasant experience in a casual and refined atmosphere. We ate very well; the passion for tradition blends with a modern approach, keeping tradition alive. I had lunch here after visiting the castle. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. The staff was kind and helpful.
The food requires careful consideration. One example is the gnocchi with sausage sauce; I could tell they were good, but I couldn't bring myself to eat them because they were so hot.
The prices were fair.

After visiting Aglie's Castle, we had lunch at Scudo di Francia.
The atmosphere was beautiful, and we enjoyed excellent food accompanied by excellent wine. The flavor pairings were much appreciated. Impeccable service.
The absolutely reasonable price was noteworthy.
What a surprise to discover the Escoffier disciple plaque!

Passing through Agliè to visit the castle, we strolled through the village and discovered this lovely trattoria. Excellent food and a warm welcome.
A mix of cured meats and cheeses, excellent agnolotti with cheese and hazelnut fondue.
Prices were reasonable.
I recommend it to anyone passing through!

Nice location, we ate well and paid the right amount. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, or rather, very reserved. Advice: maybe remove the cobwebs every now and then... and give the windows a good wash!

Before visiting the castle, we decided to stop here for lunch. The trattoria is lovely, the food is traditional and truly delicious, the service impeccable, everyone kind and welcoming. The price was more than fair. Recommended!
