The rustic design, modeled after an alpine hut, is really good 💡. The barrels are also great, but take a bit of getting used to. If you prefer something more upscale, you can also eat in the regular restaurant area.

Mega!!!! Very, very unique. The menu is very varied and has a good selection! BUT THE FOOD is amazing... authentic... we had typical dishes and were not disappointed... the food was outstanding and the quality was outstanding... everything was sooooo tender and simply an explosion in the mouth... thank you, we will definitely be back and will happily recommend it to others.

Très bon repas dans ce restaurant qui propose des pizzas, mais aussi de très bons plats typiques tyroliens. Copieux et savoureux! La salle est agréable, le cadre est très sympa. Service correct mais pas très professionnel (il a fallu réclamer la carte des desserts au bout de 30 min sans que le serveur ne vienne nous voir..). Très bon rapport qualité prix.

29/10/2025: We visited the restaurant 2 consecutive nights while staying at Ortisei. Ordered the Tris de bales and Maltagliati with roebuck ragout on the first night and went back to try the Spätzle, lamb chops and chestnut dessert. Foods were amazing and delicious. The restaurant setting was cozy and service was great and attentive. Thank you for the complementary hazelnut liquor too. 👍💯
27/10/2025: Unfortunately, the unfriendly service overshadowed the otherwise delicious food. We didn't feel welcome and weren't treated like guests.

Pizzeria Bachler

03/10/2025: We ate at Bachler twice during our stay and were impressed by the quality and service. There's something for everyone on the menu. The daily specials are very good. Friendly, attentive, but never intrusive service. Their own pizza chef prepares pizzas at the oven. Truly a top recommendation.
03/10/2025: We were really looking forward to a good pizza and were unfortunately disappointed. The pizza in the photo is my own homemade pizza. I'm used to pizzas from South Tyrol that are completely different. The dough was very light, didn't bubble, and had zero flavor, as is appropriate for a dough made with, for example, Caputo flour. It tasted more like a crispy pie crust. Despite the wood-fired oven, it wasn't a truly good pizza. I can't recommend it. The atmosphere was okay, and the enterprising waiter was very nice. This is what my pizzas at home look like, and they're not from a wood-fired oven.
