05/08/2024: A slightly different hotel...where you can relax and unwind. Located in a place of pilgrimage, you can feel the atmosphere of earlier days. So it is obvious that the rooms do not have a television. The hosts put a lot of effort into the food to ensure that the guests have a good time. There is also a sauna and you get an extra sauna bag for that. A bus stop is a few meters away so you can do without the car. Great hiking routes can be started from here.

04/08/2024: “Zum Hirschen” is a fantastic hotel where we relaxed very well. “Zum Hirschen” is a family business that is run with great passion for detail (communication, cuisine, atmosphere and architecture). Edith and Mirko are always available and always friendly, helpful and they know the area very well and give lots of tips. From a culinary point of view, “Zum Hirschen” impresses with an outstanding concept (regional, wild herbs, Hildegard von Bingen), the wine list is excellent (many wines from South Tyrol and Veneto). Be sure to book half board! We hiked straight from the house every day and didn't move the car for a week. But Merano and Bolzano can generally be reached quickly. The border between South Tyrol and Veneto is only a few kilometers south, the towns (St. Felix and Fondo) offer an exciting contrast. Conclusion: A special place! We would like to come again!
